Stay, Play, Shop...and why not?
Stay, Play, Shop . . . and why not?
Leave behind the drabness of winter for much sunnier days in The Palm Beaches, because the holidays scream shopping. Better yet, come any time of year, with 26 shopping districts from Jupiter to Boca Raton… the stores, boutiques, and unique finds are here all year in tropical style.
Check out the Stay. Play. Shop. brochure. It gives you the lowdown on the districts: locations, descriptions, links, and first-rate map.
Where to start this shopping excursion? For right now, focus on Boca Raton. When it comes to shopping, Boca (as the locals call it) is sensational. Boca sits on the southern end of The Palm Beaches, touching both the Atlantic Ocean and the outskirts of the Florida Everglades. Between those natural settings are exceptional urban streetscapes with retailers to spare.
Start with downtown Boca Raton. Mizner Park has a wonderful plaza, amphitheater, and fine art exhibits at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Royal Palm Place offers restaurants and cafes situated alongside shops, salons, and spas.
Moving to the west, Town Center at Boca Raton and Boca Center have a collection of elite and brand name stores. Even Glades Road, connecting these locales, is a shopping haven.
Boca is easily accessible. From the air, land in Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) or the not too far Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Driving in is just as simple, together Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike feature five exits in and around Boca.
