Road Access

Road trip to The Palm Beaches with five major thorough fares. Summer vacation. Weekend getaway. Just caravanning with friends to hit the beaches.

It’s doesn’t matter the reason, because Interstate 95, Florida’s Turnpike, US Highway 98, US Highway 1, or the legendary A1A are how you get here from there. These highways touch all the main cities in The Palm Beaches, connecting you with things to do and places to stay.

Road Access to The Palm Beachess

Interstate 95
Find more than 30 exits from Jupiter to Boca Raton.  I-95 runs closer to the eastern side of The Palm Beaches, linking with major road arteries for downtownsentertainment districts, and beaches. Something unique is the exit leading right to the terminal curbside of Palm Beach International Airport (Exit 69).

Florida’s Turnpike
This toll road traverses Florida from the Orlando region to Miami and features 10 exits from Jupiter to Boca Raton, all situated west of I-95. It’s another way to reach PBI, just take the Southern Boulevard exit due east (Exit 97). Insider tip . . . when driving southbound on the Turnpike, exit at Indiantown Road in Jupiter (Exit 116), from the toll booths turn left – and immediately find an entrance ramp for I-95.

A1A
Roll down the windows . . . because the beaches are right there. Find this fabled road alongside 47 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches. Cruising the whole length of The Palm Beaches isn’t just possible, it’s a must do.

US Highway 1
Long before the interstate and turnpike, the way into The Palm Beaches was US 1. It’s still here. From city to city, US 1 goes by different names – Dixie Highway and Broadway to name a couple – but just look for the road signs and drive north or south in a classic way.

US Highway 98
It stretches from beyond Lake Okeechobee to Palm Beach. Along the way check out renowned local farmlands, Belle GladePahokee, and South Bay. Closer to Royal Palm Beach and Wellington, it’s called Southern Boulevard and State Road 80. It also features entrance ramps for both I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike.
