The Palm Beaches Restaurant Week Taking place Aug. 16-31, the inaugural Palm Beaches Restaurant Week will feature discounts at more than 90 restaurants and eateries throughout The Palm Beaches. During this time, visitors can enjoy more for less as they embark on a culinary journey, exploring the destination’s diverse dining options at reduced prices, ranging from specials to prix fixe menus. Additional summer culinary events include Delray Beach Restaurant Month in August and Flavor Palm Beach in September.

The Palm Beaches Savings Pass Enjoy savings on some of The Palm Beaches’ most unique attractions with the new savings pass available now. It works similarly to an app. Simply download and begin claiming offers to top attractions including Jupiter Dive Center, Palm Beach Jupiter Dolphin Tours, Palm Beach Sightseeing Tours by Lotus Travel Company, Shark Wake Park, Silverball Retro Arcade, South Florida Science Center & Aquarium, The Gardens Mall, Visit Palm Beach and West Palm Beach Food Tours. An Ale Trail Pass is also available for craft beer lovers (21 and over, of course).

Rohi’s Readery at The Square, a shopping and entertainment district in West Palm Beach, recently welcomed Rohi’s Readery, a social justice driven children’s bookstore dedicated to critical literacy that promotes inclusivity and diversity. Centered on a commitment to serve as a space for empowerment, belonging and accessibility for all, the shop is committed to its readers seeing characters in shades of Black and Brown, as well as shedding light on those with disabilities, representing the LGBTQIA+ community, presenting authentic and accurate historical content that has been previously suppressed, and highlighting non-fiction content that reflects the strength and courage of everyday community members. Adults and children alike can enjoy live read-alouds and educational programming such as story time, phonics classes and themed events.

The Square has also recently welcomed a Curated Artist-in-Residence Program as well as a new collection of healthier eateries including Pura Vida, PLANTA (100% plant based restaurant) and soon-to-open True Food Kitchen.   Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street Founded by friends Charlie Modica and Joe Namath, this eating, drinking and gathering space honors Jupiter’s nautical culture and deep fishing roots. Located in Jupiter, Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street includes a collection of diverse eateries, all set against unobstructed views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum. Among the restaurants are Lucky Shuck Oyster Bar & Taphouse featuring 45 craft beers from local breweries and a full raw bar. Across the heart-shaped courtyard, guests can find Beacon, a contemporary American grille with coastal Mediterranean influences. Head upstairs to Topside, a rooftop tapas bar with extensive tiki cocktails, or enjoy the best of the local catch at boutique seafood market The Tacklebox, which offers dockside delivery and sells fresh fish along with chef-inspired to-go items. Pre- or post-meal, guests can enjoy a variety of cruise options with Love Street Outdoor Center, offering both short, 30-minute excursions and longer options.

Places to Stay

White Elephant Palm Beach In November 2020, Nantucket’s iconic White Elephant Resort introduced its boutique sister property in historic Palm Beach. The property, which has been completely reimagined by Boston-based architecture firm Elkus Manfredi, represents the total renovation of the Bradley Park Hotel, which dates back to the 1920s and was one of the first hotels in the area. Listed with the Landmark Preservation Commission, the team worked tirelessly with the Town of Palm Beach to create a new hotel that embraces the history of the existing building while incorporating a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean Revival architecture. The 32-room-and-suite property maintains the warm feel of a private residence, with each accommodation offering a private outdoor space. The interior and exterior display a natural color palate, in contrast with the pinks and greens synonymous with Palm Beach. The Mizner-style facade is painted a light, creamy-white with classic black-and-white striped awnings, charcoal-gray roof tiles and black trim to bring a fresh, sophisticated look to the classic structure. Also of note is the original fireplace in the hotel’s lobby, which has been restored to the grandeur of the Gilded Age. Guests will marvel at the art collection, which was personally curated by the owners and includes more than 100 works. Other amenities include a pre-arrival concierge, on-site pool, on-site restaurant, daily ice cream cart, courtesy beach van and complimentary use of Priority Bicycles. 

The Ray Scheduled to open in summer 2021, the new 141-room smart property will embody beach luxury. Located just blocks north of downtown Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue in the hip, artsy community of Pineapple Grove, the hotel will bring design-focused extravagance to Delray Beach. It will feature a 20,000-square-foot pool deck and lounge, two curated restaurants, a signature lobby bar and neighborhood café, as well as fitness programming. A floating-glass-cube event space (available for parties of 135 to 458 guests), lush plazas, green footprint and more will add to the property’s appeal.
