HOLIDAY EVENTS AND FESTIVITIES
33rd Annual Wellington Holiday Parade – Wellington, Fla.
The Central Palm Beach County Chamber and Village of Wellington will host the 33rd Annual Wellington Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 11 at 1:30 p.m.

100 foot Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Delray Beach, Fla.
On December 1, festivities begin at 5 p.m. with kid’s performances, ice skating, kiddy train ride, carousel, and Puttn’ Around mini-golf course. Santa will arrive to light the 100 foot Christmas tree at 7:15 p.m., and he will be available for photos in his Key West-style cottage, located next to the 100 foot Tree. The event is free, but activities have a nominal fee.
 
Boynton Holiday Parade – Boynton Beach, Fla.
The 46th Annual Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 3. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. in downtown Boynton Beach, at Seacrest Blvd. between SE 12th Ave and Ocean Ave. The city’s annual holiday parade is one of the largest holiday parades in Palm Beach County, with more than 50 units. Santa will make a special appearance during the parade.  
 
Boynton Beach & Delray Beach’s 45th Annual Holiday Boat Parade – Boynton Beach & Delray Beach, Fla.
This flotilla of brightly-decorated boats will line up at the Lantana Bridge near the Old Key Lime House restaurant, and motor south at 6:30 p.m. along the Intracoastal Waterway to the C-15 canal in Delray Beach on December 9 at 6 p.m. This holiday illumination show can be viewed in Boynton Beach at Intracoastal Park, Jaycee Park and in Delray Beach from Veterans Park.
 
CityPlace – West Palm Beach, Fla.

  • Gather with friends and family to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year underneath the 40-foot Christmas tree, and scheduled “snowfall” throughout the holidays at both 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. through December 31.

The Flagler Museum – Palm Beach, Fla.
On the first Sunday of December, admire the awe of this historic home’s holiday splendor as the first floor of Whitehall is decorated in traditional Gilded Age décor. Enjoy the Grand Hall Christmas Tree Lighting event, where the youngest descendants of Henry Flagler follow tradition by flipping the switch on the tree lights. This annual series of winter holiday festivities kicks off on November 23 at Mizner Park Amphitheater with a free Holiday Festival culminating in the city’s and Mizner Park’s annual tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. The highlight of the evening will be the ceremonial lighting of the city’s tree led by Mayor Susan Haynie that will illuminate simultaneously with Mizner Park’s 47-foot animated tree at the south end of the center near Lord & Taylor.
 
Northwood Village’s Art Night Out – Northwood Village, Fla.
Discover the creative setting of Northwood Village as you stroll down Northwood Road’s unique boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. This event takes place on December 30, 2016, and is held during the last Friday of each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
 
Palm Beach Outlets – West Palm Beach, Fla.

  • Beginning this Black Friday through Christmas Eve, December 24, Palm Beach Outlets generously gifts each shopper’s family a present of two free professional Santa photos, along with a digital download of a single image.
  • Pre-Black Friday shopping specials will be available at 6 p.m., Thanksgiving Day, November 24, while stores remain open through 1 a.m. The stores will reopen on Black Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Santa’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2016. The free event provides opportunities for parents and children to enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast and free photo with Santa.
  • From 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, Palm Beach Outlets will host a Chanukah event in Center Court. The festive occasion will include a menorah lighting, music, dancing, latkes and more.

Palm Beach Zoo – West Palm Beach, Fla.
Breakfast With Santa – Celebrate this fun and festive holiday tradition with a hot breakfast buffet, up-close animal encounters, and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Face painting, crafts, and complimentary rides on the Wildlife Carousel will also be available. Seatings will take place on December 17, 18 and 24 at 8:30 a.m. Advance reservations are required.

Sandi Land: Holiday in Paradise – West Palm Beach, Fla.

  • This whimsical month-long holiday celebration includes a 600-ton Sand tree “Sandi,” and several free family-friendly activities. Throughout the month of December, visitors can view the 35-foot holiday sand tree in Sandi Land on the stunning West Palm Beach Waterfront, and enjoy dazzling musical light shows which take place every 15 minutes starting at 6:15 p.m. throughout December.
  • Aloha Islanders Tropical Holiday Spectacular – On Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Aloha Islanders present a Tropical Holiday Spectacular with authentic, high-energy Polynesian entertainment for all ages. The show is action packed with pulsating drums, beautiful hula dancers and exciting Samoan fire-knife dancers. Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to this outdoor event.

SUNSET LOUNGE JAZZ SERIES presents Selwyn Birchwood – Historic Northwest District in West Palm Beach, Fla.  
Selwyn Birchwood  will perform at the famed Sunset Lounge in West Palm Beach’s historic Northwest district for an early New Year’s celebration on December 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can experience this modern powerhouse performer at the legendary jazz venue located in the historically black community just northwest of downtown West Palm Beach.
 
The Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center’s 28th Annual Living Christmas Tree and the 11th Annual Festival of Trees – Belle Glade, Fla.
This year’s performance will feature two acts: the children’s choir, under the direction of Becky Watson, will present the fun musical, “Lights, Cameras, Christmas!” and will be followed by “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” which will be presented by the adult choir. The performances will be on Saturday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 4 at 3 p.m. Tickets are only $5.
 
The Pavilion at Old School Square – Delray Beach, Fla.
