Whether a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, we always have your safety in mind.

As locals, there is nothing that brings us more joy than sharing what we love about where we live with others. Just as we would for our friends and family, we want you to know that we are doing what we can to keep you safe when you come to visit The Palm Beaches. Together, we all have steps to take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 – as businesses and individuals. Local business owners and employees have been busy, all with your safety in mind, so that you can continue to enjoy The Palm Beaches as you always have – worry-free. To keep you in the know, here are a few ways Discover The Palm Beaches has stepped-up to ensure the health and wellbeing of guests, employees and the community remain our first priority:

Your health and safety are just as important to us as that of our locals. To show you how we’re working together with the community to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we’ve launched The Palm Beaches Pledge. As a community, we pledge to keep visitors and residents safe, while supporting the local economy and area businesses by practicing these primary actions:
  • Wear a facial covering when around other people in public places
  • Create safe, 6 feet buffers between ourselves and others
  • Keep our place of business sanitized, according to CDC guidelines
  • Pursue GBAC STAR Accreditation (if applicable)
To see who has signed the Pledge, view them here.

GBAC STAR™ Accreditation

GBAC Seal Logo
The Palm Beaches tourism businesses will be backed by one of the highest standards of sanitation: The Global Biorisk Advisory Council’s (GBAC) STAR Accreditation. It’s the same one that American Airlines and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts are pursing. The accreditation offers a formal approach to cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention in commercial and public facilities of all sizes, and serves as a gold standard. The Palm Beach County Convention Center as already received its accreditation seal.  There are also over 30 hotel properties currently completing the process as well as Palm Beach International Airport.
