Blogger-Approved Spa & Wellness Month Specials

October 10, 2019

Local blogger Alyson Seligman gives us a preview of some of the can’t-miss specials for Spa & Wellness Month, running through October 31.

I’m pretty confident we all owe a debt of gratitude to the genius who came up with Spa & Wellness Month. As a blogger, public speaker and mom of two, life can get chaotic, so sign me up for any opportunity to recharge and rejuvenate – particularly when it’s a deal to do so!

This October, there are dozens of spa treatments, wellness experiences, healthy eats and even specialty cocktails available throughout The Palm Beaches at exclusive, discounted rates. Best of all, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, every participating business is donating a percentage of proceeds to charity.

So, the big question: where should you go, and what should you experience? You can browse all the offers here, but there are a few spots on the list I’ve tried and loved (or would love to try). Spa & Wellness Month is the perfect opportunity; plus, I always do better with a deadline!

Whether you go solo, grab your girlfriends or make it a romantic date, reserve your spot at these can’t-miss locales.

Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach: Oceana Salt Stone Massage

The Four Seasons recently completed a major renovation, and while it’s a splurge, the spa is now one of the most indulgent, luxurious destinations in South Florida. For Spa & Wellness Month, the resort is offering four special deals, including the Oceana Salt Stone Massage ($225 for 50 minutes, $305 for 80 minutes). Get ready for pure bliss as heated salt stones relieve your tightest muscles and melt away stress. Plus, the experience comes with sparkling rosé or hibiscus tea, a voucher for lunch and access to the resort’s pool, fitness room and private beach. You’ll leave feeling like you were transported to paradise for the day.

Get the Royal Treatment at Royal Poinciana Plaza

This gorgeous indoor/outdoor shopping and dining center is one of my favorite destinations in the area, and there are so many deals to be had this October. Enjoy complimentary fitness classes every Saturday morning on the beautiful courtyard (be sure to sign up in advance), followed with a $5 “create-your-own” juice at Celis Produce and a signature mani-pedi from Nail Lab for just $40. For lunch, head to one of my favorite restaurants, Coyo Taco, which is celebrating Spa & Wellness Month with $10 skinny Paloma cocktails and made-from-scratch pink tortillas. Expect to see this on my Instagram feed!

Kaffee’s Garden Spa: Hydrate for Hope Ritual
I have so many friends who love this charming little oasis in the heart of West Palm Beach. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, Kaffee’s Garden Spa is offering a Hydrate for Hope Ritual, which includes a relaxing collagen hand rejuvenation followed by an herbal recovery facial with concentrated botanical extracts to restore and hydrate your skin. The experience is just $85 and includes a gift bag. If you’re craving extra relaxation, add on a full-body dry brush and massage with dry salt therapy.

Yoga on the Water with Blueline Surf & Paddle Co.

I recently tried stand-up paddleboarding at Blueline in Jupiter, and it was just incredible to be on the water, get a workout and spend time with a friend. Now, my new favorite destination is offering stand-up paddleboard yoga for October – a class that’s perfect for beginner and intermediate yogis alike. Position yourself on the paddleboard and let go of the stress from the week as you stretch, strengthen and breathe in the salt air. The next class is October 19 from 10-11 a.m., so sign up now before it sells out! Blueline also has the cutest little shop with apparel, accessories, shoes and more for the entire family. It’s a great find!

PS: Want your little ones to unwind and relax with a yoga session designed just for them? Check out Manatee Lagoon’s Mindful Moments Kids Yoga classes for children ages 3-9. They’re held every Tuesday this month from 4-5 p.m., and cost just $5. My family loves this spot, particularly for manatee spotting as the weather gets cooler.

Si-Rose Facial Treatment at SiSpa, Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort
My girlfriends and I try to make a date at SiSpa every few months, and this special is the perfect excuse for a girls’ relaxation day. Enjoy a hydrating facial complete with rose extract and rose oil to give you a beautiful, dewy glow. It even includes a rose quartz massage, so you get the best of both worlds with this $99 treatment! Get there early or stay after and explore the hotel; enjoy the steam room, grab lunch and relax at the pool. It’s the best way to spend a day.

With three pages of offers this year, the opportunities to relax and rejuvenate for Spa & Wellness Month are seemingly endless. We’d love to hear what you choose; tag your social posts with #spatober to share your Spa & Wellness Month experiences.
