Independence Day Celebration at PGA, July 3

PGA National Resort is hosting an Independence Day Celebration with an evening street fair on Sunday, July 3rd, from 6-9 pm – including food trucks, live music, bounce houses, face painters, and more. Tickets include an unlimited selection of food, cocktails and mocktails, beer, and wine, and cost $100 per person and $25 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased here.

4th on Flagler, July 4

West Palm Beach’ annual Fourth of July celebration is South Florida’s largest, free outdoor Independence Day celebration, featuring an 18-minute fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway. The event is on the Waterfront from 6 – 10 pm (along Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Fern Street). Activities will include live entertainment with Reverend Barry and the Funk on the NewDay USA stage, two DJs, the Bill Bone 5K, Palm Beach Health Network's Family Chill Zone featuring a hands-on kids’ area, Military Honor Salute, and refreshments for purchase. Fireworks are scheduled to ignite around 9 pm, weather permitting.

Loxahatchee Adventures 4th July Paddle, July 4

Loxahatchee Adventures will be having a 4th of July Paddle experience at their Lee Road location in Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
Participants will meet at the Lee Rd location at 6.30 pm, be on the water by 7.00 pm and be off the water before dark. Loxahatchee Adventures will provide everything you need for your adventure, including the Kayak or canoe, paddles, float vests and experienced tour guides. Price is $30 for adults and $20 for kids under 12. Reservations are required and can be made at LoxahatcheeAdventures.com.

Mega Bash, July 3-4

Celebrate 4th of July Weekend at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium for a two-day Mega Bash, presented by Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, ESPN 106.3 FM, the Town of Jupiter, and the Town of Juno Beach. The Palm Beach Cardinals will host the Daytona Tortugas on July 3rd, before Palm Beach becomes the visiting team on July 4th against the Jupiter Hammerheads. The first pitch for both games is slated for 6 pm, and there will be postgame fireworks after both matchups!

City of Belle Glade 4th of July Extravaganza, July 4

This unique event is organized in a 40-acre venue called "Rodeo Las Palmas," a new location that is the only rodeo venue in Palm Beach County. The free event features live entertainment (3 different genres of DJ's), food trucks/vendors, kids rides and family friendly entertainment, a concert with 3 acts (Country Music Artist, "Tom Jackson", "Motown Magic", and a Latin band), an award winning 2-hour patriotic rodeo, and a firework spectacular at 9 pm.

City of Boynton Beach July 4 Event, July 4

The City of Boynton Beach will host a July 4 celebration complete with live music, food trucks, entertainment, kids’ activities, free shuttle transportation, and one of the largest Zambelli fireworks displays in Palm Beach County. This free, family-friendly event will take place on Monday, July 4 from 6.30 to 9.30 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.

Flag raising ceremony, live entertainment, food-eating contests, games & activities and fireworks! From 5 pm to 9.30 pm, join the July 4th celebration on East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. Activities include flag raising ceremony, live entertainment, custard-eating and cheeseburger-eating contests, food trucks, vendors, children’s activities and games. The famous Zambelli fireworks start right at 9 pm!

14th Annual 4th of July Celebration at Sunset Cove Amphitheater, July 4

Celebrating 50 years of Parks & Recreation, this free event will include a fireworks display, live concert featuring Journey tribute band, Odyssey Road, a kid’s fun zone and more! Concessions will be available for purchase on-site. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. This event is in collaboration with the West Boca Community Council. Follow Sunset Cove Amphitheater on Facebook for more information and event updates. The event is free.
Gates open 5.30 pm. Performance starts 7.00 pm.  Fireworks at 9.00 pm.

Wellington’s 4th of July Celebration, July 4

If you’re looking for family-friendly 4th of July entertainment this year, look no further than the Village of Wellington! Festivities will take place at Village Park (entrance on Pierson Road). Entertainment and Activities are from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm. Fireworks begin at 9.15 pm. The event is free to attend! Parking is limited; therefore, guests are encouraged to use our FREE shuttle service from The Mall at Wellington Green.

Lake Worth Beach 4th of July Celebration, July 4

Celebrate the 4th of July in Lake Worth Beach! Festivities begin at 10.00 am with the Raft Parade and Race. At 6.00 pm, Andrew Morris Band will take the stage with Krazy Train following starting at 7.45 pm. Fireworks to beautifully light up the South Florida summer skies beginning at 9.00 pm.

First Friday Art Walk is a self-guided tour of our art galleries and studios on the first Friday of every month from 6 pm to 9 pm. Stroll around downtown Delray Beach Arts District and explore the vibrant art scene throughout the galleries, studios, and shops. The downtown Delray Beach Arts District includes Artists Alley, Pineapple Grove, Atlantic Avenue and West Atlantic Avenue. Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival, July 7-24

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival will celebrate 32 years of its annual tradition this summer with two events: Shakespeare by the Sea and Shakespeare by the Palms.

Shakespeare by the Sea: The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation’s Shakespeare by the Sea XXXII production of RICHARD II runs July 7 – 10 and 14 – 17.

Shakespeare by the Palms: The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and The Village of Royal Palm Beach present the Shakespeare by the Palms II production of William Shakespeare’s RICHARD II July 21 – 24 at 8 pm.

This event is presented free of charge to everyone, with a suggested $5 donation made to the “Wishing Will” on site, or via mobile app. For both locations, gates open at 6.30 pm with performances starting at 8 pm.

A Place For Pride Exhibition, through July 15

The Royal Poinciana Plaza is proud to announce the introduction of “A Place for Pride,” a self-guided photo retrospective exploring the moments and milestones that have shaped LGBTQ+ life in our country and community. “A Place for Pride” is complimentary to the public and will be on view through July 15, 2022, during The Royal’s normal operating hours. The exhibit includes a timeline of the progress of equal human rights 1958-2022.
The Royal’s Instagram-friendly Wee Free Library, a pink Smeg refrigerator stocked with books, crayons, and ice pops, is also celebrating Pride− featuring “A Place for Pride” bookmarks and an assortment of children’s books written by, or featuring, LGBTQ+ authors and characters.

The Gardens Mall’s Summer Wellness Series, July 9-23

Summer in Paradise, July Dates

Organized by the city of West Palm Beach, Summer in Paradise is a fun summer campaign that includes free concerts, movies, fireworks and more for the whole family to enjoy. In addition to the special events, the Great Lawn (100 Clematis Street) will also feature several pop-up photo opportunities. The three-dimensional, one-of-a-kind backdrops will include a fun, social media promotion, where winners will be selected to win goodies and gift cards from local merchants.

Summer Camp Sessions at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium, July Dates

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is calling Palm Beach County kids to register for science camps that span their curiosities, including sessions focused on dinosaurs, aeronautics, firework concoctions, robotics, digital filmmaking and more! Summer camp sessions are open for kids ages 5 to 12.
Science Adventures include:

  • July 5 to July 8: Muggle Magic! Journey to wizarding school and explore the magic of fireworks, the chemistry behind potions, and more in this magical week-long camp.
  • July 11 to July 15: Exhilarating Engineering. Have you ever wondered how a bridge is built or why boats float? Dive into this week-long engineering-themed camp. Campers will have the chance to build and race their own boats at the end of the week!
  • July 18 to July 22: SENSEsational Science! Learn more about the five senses in this week-long camp, starting with hearing on World Listening Day (July 18th). Campers will examine their senses, the five senses in other animal species, as well as animal senses that we don't have!
  • July 25 to 29: Awesome Aeronautics. Get launched into action and be “wowed” by the study of flight! Campers will have a blast learning about physics and aerodynamics as they create catapults, kites, bottle rockets, and more.

Camp sessions are between 9 am and 4 pm, with drop off from 8.30 am to 9.00 am and pick up between 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm Summer camps are also available at the Center’s satellite campus located in Jupiter.
