Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month 2023, Delray Beach

Date: September 1 – September 30

The 8th annual Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month will highlight this diverse dining destination from September 1 – 30, 2023 through a wide-array of culinary experiences providing locals and visitors with opportunities to enjoy more than 50 restaurants, cafés, and fast-casual establishments/eateries at special prices including many new restaurants that have opened in the past year. Event features include special multi-course prix fixe breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, and culinary events.

The 8th annual Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month 2023 is produced by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in partnership with the downtown Delray Beach restaurants, cafés, and fast-casual establishments/eateries.

During the entire month of September, Palm Beach County’s top eateries will offer special fixed-price menus for lunch and dinner as part of Flavor Palm Beach. This event spans from Tequesta to Boca Raton and showcases local restaurants, presenting three-course menus priced between $35 and $85. The event features internationally renowned chefs, including James Beard Foundation, Michelin Star, and celebrity chefs. Notable establishments like Café Boulud, The Butcher’s Club, Honeybelle, and AquaGrille, owned by acclaimed chefs, will be part of the lineup. The Boca End Of Summer Festival, Boca Raton

Date & Time: September 23 and 24, 11 am – 6 pm

The Boca End of Summer Festival marks the end of the summer season and brings the community together for one final hurrah before autumn sets in. This event will be arriving at Mizner Park Amphitheater on Saturday, September 23rd & Sunday, September 24th from 11 AM-6 PM. There will be two jammed packed days with carnival rides and games, a beer garden, a variety of food & craft vendors, music, face painters, a petting zoo and fun for all!

The weekend-long festival includes a wide array of culinary delights, a Family Fun Zone , Craft Vendors, Live Entertainment. Additionally, Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue will host dog adoptions on site to take home a new furry friend!

Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument first introduced to Japan from China in the 7th-8th centuries. The workshop teaches the basics of sadō–The Way of Tea-necessary to understand the aesthetics of sadō and to fully enjoy the tea ceremony itself. Participants become familiar with how to be a guest, how to make a bowl of tea, and serve it.

SUNNY 107.9 Tribute Series at Sunday on the Waterfront, West Palm Beach

Date & Time: September 17, 4 – 7 pm

This month’s Sunday on the Waterfront will feature an ’80s tribute that will surely get concertgoers footloose! On the Roxx will rock the crowd with various rock, pop, oldies, Motown, disco, and dance hits. The band features bandleader and lead singer Diane DeNoble, an all-around entertainer who has performed on the stages of Broadway, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Bali, and international cruise ships worldwide. She has made her home in West Palm Beach, where she continues to grace stages all over South Florida.

Sunset Stroll at the Morikami Gardens, Delray Beach

Enjoy a sunset stroll through the Roji-en: Garden of the Drops of Dew, or visit the Yamato-kan, the Morikami’s original museum, during the museum’s private, after-hours event. The Cornell Café will be serving sake and hors d’oeuvres for purchase, and the Museum Store will be open to browse. There will also be live taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko at 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the museum’s lakefront terrace. International Coastal Cleanup 2023, The Palm Beaches

Participate in the International Coastal Cleanup 2023—an expansive volunteer effort dedicated to cleaning up marine environments. Volunteers from over 100 countries gather at local beaches, rivers, lakes, and canals to contribute to cleaner waterways.

Sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy, a premier marine-focused organization, this event has a 38-year history of global impact. It’s not just about removing trash; volunteers also collect valuable data on debris types and sources using paper data cards or the Clean Swell app. This data serves as a powerful resource for education, influencing policy, and fostering positive changes in behavior at individual, organizational, and community levels.
