It’s time to get your spook on! Break out your old wigs, witch hats, ghoul masks, face paint, magic potions and costumes. Halloween is hitting The Palm Beaches with a spooktacular array of events and pumpkin patches. How will you celebrate this year? Here is a sampling of 2023 Halloween events in The Palm Beaches this year.

Halloween Fright Nights, West Palm Beach

Come and celebrate Fright Nights’ 21st era of terror! Starting its third decade, Fright Nights has been the scariest haunted event in South Florida featuring three haunts filled with creepy characters, scare zones, carnival rides, live entertainment and food. This year’s frights include four haunted houses, one more than last year: Dead of winter II, Jed’s Chop Shop, Cutting Edge and Hockley House.

Behind The Scenes: On October 5, get a glimpse of four haunts before Fright Nights opens to the public. Attendance is limited to 40 people per hour and the tour lasts 45 minutes. Cost is $30 per person. A tour will start at the top of the hour from 6 to 9 pm and includes a behind the scenes look at the four haunted houses.

Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival, Boca Raton

Dates & Time:

The Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival, a much-anticipated annual event celebrating the joys of the Fall season, returns to the Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, with an extension to three exciting days and the addition of timed sessions for attendees.   

This seasonal event will feature a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including a giant pumpkin patch in the center of all the action with more than 2,500 pumpkins and a carnival for all ages.

General admission is $27.50 per person for those ages three years and up, and includes unlimited carnival rides, a kiddie cornstalk maze, multiple fall photo vignettes, a scarecrow dress-up village, and sponsor giveaways.  Admission is free for children under three years old. All tickets must be purchased/secured in advance here.

Pumpkin Patch at The Square, West Palm Beach

Dates & Time: Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from October 13-29 (Fri: 5-9 pm and Sat & Sun: 10 am-9 pm).

The Square’s inviting pumpkin patch is sprouting on the lawn where the bright gourds will be available to pick starting October 13 alongside family-friendly activities and events.

Pumpkin Fest 2023 at Harbourside Place, Jupiter

Date & Time: October 21, 11 am – 4 pm

At Pumpkin Fest 2023, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant autumn atmosphere. Explore our pumpkin patch, where you’ll find a wide variety of pumpkins in all shapes, and sizes. There will be live entertainment throughout the day, including music from Ricky Young and That Man and Robin, kid friendly haunted house, stilt walkers, over 50+ vendors, and more! Bring your friends and family along to Pumpkin Fest 2023 and make this autumn celebration one to remember.

West Palm Beach Official Halloween Bar Crawl, West Palm Beach

Date & Time: October 27-28, 4 pm – 10 pm

Have you ever wondered what a Haunted Bar Crawl would be like? Look no further because this is perfect for those who love to drink and enjoy a spooky atmosphere. West Palm Beach’s Official Halloween Bar Crawl is back and just in time to freak the night away.

The bar crawl consists of visiting several bars in the city, each with its unique Halloween drink specials, décor, and spooky surprises. From ghostly cocktails to pumpkin beer, each bar offers a special drink to fit the Halloween theme. Don’t get caught in cobwebs, get scared by skeletons or spooky lighting which will be all over this Halloween.

One of our most exciting parts of the event is the costume contest. Participants come dressed in their scariest or most creative costumes, and the winner receives a prize.

West Palm Beach Official Halloween Bar Crawl

Annual Witches of Delray Bike Ride, Delray Beach

Date & Time: 28 October, 7:30 am – 10:00 am

More than 300 witches in their best witch-wear and extravagantly decorated brooms (bikes) will ride along the ocean on A1A, guided by the Delray Beach Police Department, finishing at Anchor Park with music and an awards presentation.

Trick-or-Treating on the Avenue, Delray Beach

61st Annual Halloween Parade, Delray Beach

Date & Time: October 28, 1:00 pm

Brought to you by The Rotary Club of Delray Beach. Be apart of the parade and show off your costumes! Meet on Atlantic Ave. at NE 5th Ave. to line up for the parade. The parade will end at Old School Square, right into Kidsfest of Delray. Enjoy free ice cream sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delray Beach upon entering.

Kidsfest, Delray Beach

Pick Your Poison Cocktail Experience At Galley, West Palm Beach

Date & Time: October 29, 5-7 pm.

Time for a grown-up trick or treat. Grab your friends or loved ones for a fun night out at Galley West Palm Beach, create your own cocktails in this interactive class taught by lead mixologist Hauk Cornell. Pick your poison between vodka, tequila, or whiskey and brew up two delicious cocktails that are fun to make and even more fun to sip on.

Spook-Tacular HallowMarine Celebration at Loggerhead

Date & Time: October 28, 10 am – 5 pm

Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) is hosting its second annual, campuswide HallowMarine celebration on Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. HallowMarine will feature a range of family-friendly activities like sustainable trick-or-treating, animal enrichment and feeding talks, discovery shows, junior veterinary labs, and visits with the sea turtle patients!

The Center will decorate the sea turtle tanks with floating pumpkins and offer an enrichment feeding activity for its different ecosystem exhibits. At 11 a.m., join the LMC team to watch the animals enjoy a Halloween-themed pumpkin treat!

The Center will have multiple trick-or-treat locations at doors that are decorated with 100% recycled materials. LMC representatives will be passing out sustainably sourced candy to tricker-or-treaters. For snacks or beverages, the Tortuga Café will be open until 3 pm.
