Halloween Happenings in The Palm Beaches

It's time to get your spook on!  Break out your old wigs, witch hats, ghoul masks, face paint, magic potions and costumes. Halloween is hitting The Palm Beaches with a spooktacular array of events. How will you celebrate this year? Here is a sampling of Halloween events in The Palm Beaches this year:

Clematis by ‘Fright, Oct. 30 from 6 - 9 p.m. - This weekly concert series gets a Halloween spin with costume contests, hay rides, trick-or-treating, face painting, balloon twisters and fall food vendors.  
Enigma Haunted HouseOct. 23-26, 30-31 & Nov. 1 - Filled with dark corridors, unsolved mysteries and lurking shadows these hair-raising haunts are sure to give you goose bumps and make you question reality. Tour the dark limestone caverns and subterranean river systems in the Abyss or get a glimpse of Amara’s tortured soul in the Realms of Terror.

Fright Nights at the South Florida FairgroundsOct. 23-26, 30-31 & Nov. 1 - For frightful thrills and chills, venture through the three haunted houses at the annual spookfest. For more moonlit fun, experience midway rides at dusk, fun games, carnival food, scare zones or the “Monster Bash” costume party on Oct. 26.

MoonfestOct. 25 at 7p.m. - This annual Halloween party on Clematis Street includes 10 bands on three stages, with headliners like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!  In its 22nd year, don your spookiest costume, and enter for a chance to win a $1,000 cash prize in this year’s costume contest!

Shriek Week at Sugar Sand ParkOct. 23, 24 & 25 - For a complete Halloween experience check out the 10th “Fear” Anniversary. From bone-chilling haunted houses to glow-in-the-dark games, a ‘Kid Scary Film Festival,’ creative pumpkin decorating contests and awe-inspiring magic shows — this is the place to be the week before Halloween!

TRICK-OR-TREAT SPOTS FOR FAMILIES

Halloween Nights at The Museum offer visitors Halloween-themed science demos, a Spooky Science trail, live DJ, candy, prizes and more at the South Florida Science Center. Oct. 31, 6 - 8 p.m.

Boo at the Zoo returns to The Palm Beach Zoo for not-so-spooky nights filled with animals, costumes, and candy. Oct. 24-26 & 31.

Spookyville returns to the South Florida Fairgrounds for another year of not-too-spooky rides, games and nightly trick-or-treating. October 24-26 & 31.

Halloween Spooktacular for Kids at Burger Bar, Palm Beach Gardens. One complimentary kids meal with purchase of adult entrée, plus treats for kids starting at Oct. 18 & 24, 5:30 - 8 p.m.  

HALLOWEEN NIGHT FOR ADULTS

Tequila Terror & Costume Contest at Cabo Flats offers drink specials for Halloween and a costume contest, at 10 p.m. Oct. 31.

Halloween iBar Bash at the exclusive PGA National Resort & Spa with a costume contest and scary food and drink specials at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.

WPB Zombie Crawl starting at Roxy’s Pub, meet-and-greet with “Walking Dead” zombie Michael Koske and hit several venues for DJS and drink specials all ending with a party on Roxy’s Rooftop and a $1,000 costume contest. Oct. 24 at 5 p.m.; crawl starts at 7 p.m.
