The Fair is in Town

Where else can you celebrate the new year with fried foods, thrilling rides and live entertainment on four stages in comfortable 70-degree weather? From Jan. 15 - 31, the South Florida Fair rolls into the fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. This year, the fair has enacted an array of safety guidelines and precautions to help keep fairgoers, employees and volunteers safe, including a mask mandate. Buy tickets in advance, so you don’t miss the chance to chow down on a donut burger or Frosted Flakes chicken on a stick, then turn up the fun exploring the attractions and shows at the fair.

Dazzling Displays of Art and Jewelry

Coming to the Palm Beach County Convention Center from Feb. 11 - 16, The Palm Beach Show (previously known as the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show) features international exhibitors displaying captivating works of art and stunning jewelry. The show, one of the largest of its kind in the U.S., draws private collectors, investors, interior designers and museum curators to discover enchanting pieces at this unforgettable event.

Game, Set, Match

Tickets are now available for the 2021 Delray Beach Open, which will bring some of the world’s top-ranked men’s professional tennis players to the artsy-hip beach village Feb. 12 - 21. The tournament will include both an ATP Champions Tour Legends Team event and ATP 250 tournament with singles and doubles competition. The tournament has arranged to keep spectators physically distant by ensuring all seating is assigned in pods of 2 or 4 seats together.

Artistic Innovations

Winter in The Palm Beaches is anything but desolate and bare, especially with vibrant events like ArtPalmBeach. From Feb. 24 - 28, art exhibits, installations, performances and interactive experiences take over the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The 2021 event is dedicated to immersive art experiences and educating guests on art and collecting in today’s world. Each day will bring something different, so plan to visit more than once.

The Sport of Kings

Each year from January to April in The Palm Beaches, polo players and enthusiasts meet and compete in a test of skill and fast-paced action during Palm Beach International Polo Season. The 2020 season had to be postponed in March due to COVID-19, but the 2021 season will be back with even more action. Watch galloping horses and swinging mallets or and take part in quirky traditions like the divot stomp. Plans for spectators, stadium seating, and brunch in the field-side pavilion for the 2021 season are still being finalized, so be sure to check for updates at InternationalPoloClub.com.
