Advocates who take pride showcasing the strength of our community - being ready to welcome, ready to activate local partnerships, and ready to host dynamic and memorable meetings in The Palm Beaches.

Destination Champions are community leaders, local business partners, industry experts and thought leaders, who share the common goal of promoting The Palm Beaches as a “business ready” meetings destination. The Group Sales and Destination Services Team, work with our Destination Champions to showcase the key assets of the county’s targeted industries, to attract meetings and conventions to the destination. This in turn contributes to the greater social and economic impact on The Palm Beaches

Here are some ways you can be instrumental in showcasing The Palm Beaches!

Industry Expert

As an Industry Expert, work with the Discover Sales Team to potentially secure meeting and convention bids and increase the economic impact to The Palm Beaches in one or more of the following ways:

Educate the Discover Sales Team in your respective field of expertise
Facilitate introductions to other industry experts
Identify potential meetings and events within your targeted industry that could be hosted in The Palm Beaches

Advocate

Promote The Palm Beaches to your personal or professional networks as the perfect place to host a meeting or convention! And enjoy the opportunity to profile your association in your hometown!

As a Connector
Identify potential meetings and events that could be hosted in The Palm Beaches:

Are you a member of an association who may consider bringing their next annual or regional meeting to the destination?
Do you serve on a board professionally or personally where you can recommend that Palm Beaches host your next board meeting?
Is your company affiliated with an organization or association that may consider bringing their annual or regional meeting to The Palm Beaches?

As a Community Leader

As a local business owner, work with the Discover Destination Services Team to share your unique, compelling story by curating one of the following activities:

Create a locally immersive experience
Host a tour of your business
Create a corporate social responsibility activity allowing attendees visiting the destination to leave a legacy of social and economic impact.

Volunteer

Work with the Destination Services Team to assist in servicing a group during a meeting or convention in The Palm Beaches at a variety of venues across the County including the Palm Beach County Convention Center, local offsite venues, local tourist attractions or at the Palm Beach International Airport.

Become a Destination Champion

To become a Destination Champion please complete the interest form below. You will be added to our Destination Champions pool and distribution list and will receive updates and communications related to the Groups and Meetings Industry. We will contact you as needed to engage and assist with potential groups considering The Palm Beaches for upcoming meetings or conventions.
