On May 24, visitors to the Norton Museum of Art have an opportunity to learn about and pay tribute to this great teacher with a daylong celebration of Buddha’s Birthday that will tie in with works of art connected with Buddhism in the Norton’s Chinese Collection.

Fo Guang Shan Miami Temple and BLIA Miami Chapter in Tamarac will work with the Norton staff to create a day of activities marking the occasion, including the ceremony of bathing the Buddha, spotlight tours focused on works in the Collection, film, and a tea meditation.
