A Great Place to Live

Burnt Bridge

With a diverse blend of people, cultures, and coastal towns, plus the perfect climate all year round, Palm Beach County is the perfect place to live, work, and play. Here are a few reasons why The Palm Beaches are a great place to live.

1. Diverse Area and Vibrant Life
The Palm Beaches encompasses all of Palm Beach County, a magical collection of 39 cities and towns and 15 Entertainment Districts. Here in The Palm Beaches, our communities range from cities bursting with vibrant nightlife and prime shopping to natural areas meant for hiking, biking, birding - and 47 miles of sun-kissed sands for hitting the beach. Before you know it, you’ll have friends and family coming for annual visits. Host them at home or recommend a terrific hotel. Better yet, go on vacation in your new hometown. Start exploring things to do you can only find here.

2. Strategic Location
Located in South Florida, the county has a population of 1.4 million and is the largest county southeast of the Mississippi River. Amazingly, The Palm Beaches feature more land area than both Delaware and Rhode Island. All to go along with two distinct coastlines. To the east, the Atlantic Ocean, while to the west, Lake Okeechobee. Broward County and its main city of Fort Lauderdale are just on the other side of Palm Beach County’s southern border, while the drive to downtown Miami and the rest of Miami-Dade County is about an hour.

3. Strong Connectivity
Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike have exits for many Palm Beach County cities. Air service is a breeze through award-winning Palm Beach International Airport and the two other nearby major airports (Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport). Both the Brightline high-speed rail and Tri-Rail commuter train service connect major Palm Beach County cities to Fort Lauderdale and Miami within an hour.

4. Outstanding Education
Palm Beach County is home to the top 10 largest School Districts in the country - A-rated with nearly 400 award-winning programs and 120 different campuses. Colleges and Universities include Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, NOVA Southeastern University, Lynn University, and Keiser University.
