Things to Do from Beach to Broadway

If you’re feelin’ a tropical vacation or just looking for a more relaxed, Florida LGBTQ-friendly destination with plenty of beach, culture, shopping, and nightlife, then see our first-rate lineup of Things to Do in The Palm Beaches.

Sunrise Surprises
Sun rays over the Atlantic Ocean, glowing sand on 47 miles of beaches, these are cues to start hitting the things to do in The Palm Beaches. Get to know our cities via Segway, bike, or cruise tour. Explore the Loxahatchee River, Intracoastal Waterway, and Lake Worth Lagoon by paddleboard, kayak, or canoe. Underwater we have a whole other world to discover. We have super diving, including more than 150 artificial reefs and marvelous snorkeling. And beat the rush; mornings are an enjoyable time to peruse Norton Museum of Art, Boca Raton Museum of Art, or discover unique art galleries.
Afternoon Adventures
It’s time for shopping, lunch, and some more shopping. We do the shopping thing quite well in The Palm Beaches. Buy for your family, friends, and most importantly, your personal wardrobe. Go from the Gardens Mall and PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens to Clematis Street, CityPlace, and Palm Beach Outlets in West Palm Beach to Town Center, Glades Road, Mizner Park in Boca Raton. If you’re a connoisseur of antiques, drop by Northwood Village and Antique Row. And then you have Worth Avenue; world-famous for its luxury brands. When you want to snack, find plenty of delicious bistros in all these locales, because we take our food as serious as our shopping.
Street Sounds
The lights are dimming and the curtain is rising. Broadway quality shows and performances fill the bill at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and Wick Theatre & Costume Museum. Before or after show time, go play. PGA Boulevard, CityPlace, Clematis Street, Northwood Village, Mizner Park, and Glades Road have restaurants galore . . . ah, how about more cocktails, beer, and wine? Downtown Lake Worth has local hangouts with funky, Bohemian vibes. Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove in Delray Beach have music, lounges, and late-night eats. And for that tropical shirt, open-air waterside feeling: Boynton Harbor Marina.
More to Peak Your Interests
The Palm Beaches don’t shy away from presenting LGBTQ-friendly bars and nightclubs. There are several to choose from, as our various establishments cater to your tastes. Looking for a place to go as a group and let loose? Check. Quiet drink, soft music? Check. Drag queen show? Check. We have it. See more on where to go, by checking out a selection of the best.
