Four PBC Women Named as 2024 Smart Women in Meetings Award Winners

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – March 27, 2024 – Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, announces that two team members have been selected for the 2024 Smart Women in Meetings Awards by Smart Meetings magazine. Kelly Cavers, chief sales officer, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Aly X. Fernandez, associate vice president of destination services was selected as an Industry Leader.

In addition, DTPB was also thrilled that two of its community partners, Paget Kirkland of Kirkland Event & Destination Services and Katie Jordan of The Boca Raton, were selected as Stellar Performers in the 9th annual awards.   

“A big congratulations to our team members and partners on being recognized for their contributions to this industry,” said Milton Segarra, CDME, president and CEO of DTPB. “I have the privilege of working alongside these women, and they are all truly spectacular in their own right. Each of them helps us in our unified goal to make The Palm Beaches shine, especially with our groups and conventions market.”
