Online Event Calendar Submission Guidelines

Our online event calendar is specifically tourism related. It targets potential visitors from outside Palm Beach County, FL. It is not designed to work as a daily community events calendar for residents.

Guidelines
If you would like to submit an event, please take a minute to read and review our event submission guidelines. All submitted events will be reviewed, approved, and posted by Discover The Palm Beaches based on the criteria below.
 
What We Will Post

  • Submitted events must take place in Palm Beach County, FL.
  • The calendar is designed to support events sponsored, supported, or taking place at both paid and civic partners of Discover The Palm Beaches.
  • Events must present visitors to Palm Beach County, FL the opportunity to experience hospitality; heritage; culture; cuisine; sports; concerts; theater; museum/art exhibitions; seasonal happenings; lounge, bar, or restaurant special events (i.e. trivia nights, Super Bowl party, themed nights, holidays); tours; and festivals. 
  • Events must be open to the public - free or ticketed.

What We Will Not Post

  • Events taking place outside Palm Beach County, FL.
  • Non-eligible events include store sales, workshops, job fairs, conferences, bazaars, auctions, meetings, fundraisers, lectures, seminars, restricted membership events, camps, and educational classes.
  • Events deemed not to be tourism-related by Discover The Palm Beaches.

Submitting Your Event

  • Please submit event per form.
  • Event dates, times, and location should be final, but if things were to change, we can make updates. 
  • Descriptions should be brief and to the point – 50-word max and in sentence form.
  • Include images or logos – events without these by default will feature a Discover The Palm Beaches logo. Please check event form for image parameters, keep in mind Event Posters will not upload.
  • Approved events appear only in the All Events Calendar section of our website
  • Discover The Palm Beaches does reserve the right to edit descriptions and is not responsible for errors submitted via the form.

 
Using the Partner Portal to Submit Events
Paid partners of Discover The Palm Beaches can submit and manage their events through the Partner Portal. Please follow the same criteria as listed above.
