The Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl

December 21, 2019

FAU Stadium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431

After spending five years on the Tuesday evening before Christmas and being aired on ESPN, the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl will be in a different place on the calendar and dial this year. The 2019 edition will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 21, and will be televised on ABC.
The 2019 Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl will select its two participating teams from its three partner conferences:  Conference USA, the Mid-American Conference and the American Athletic Conference. The bowl week activities will include beach parties, pep rallies, a kickoff luncheon, community outreach and other activities throughout Boca Raton and Palm Beach County.

The bowl game is played in the 30,000-seat FAU Stadium on the Florida Atlantic University campus in Boca Raton—it’s the only stadium in the country with views of the Atlantic Ocean—and is nationally televised for fans unable to make the trip. If you are attending the game, join in the community activities taking place all week long. Dates and times for team welcome parties, beach parties, pep rallies and more will be released at a later date, so check back here for details.

In the meantime, we’ve got plenty of ways to start planning your trip to The Palm Beaches. Boca Raton offers a mix of outdoor activities and culture, with plenty of shopping and dining options. Stroll through the Boca Raton Museum of Art or walk the trails of Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. Practice your backswing at Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course, or soak up the sun at Spanish River Park and Red Reef Park. And if you like to dive or snorkel, there’s a whole ‘nother world underwater.
