West Palm Beach Waterfront, Downtown West Palm Beach, FL

Let Loose, It’s Summer

Here comes the fun! That kinda says it all. And it’s all right to go back to events. Downtown West Palm Beach is the ideal host for a live music, outdoor movie screenings, and skyrockets blasting away. What’s even sweeter … these are free events!

Let the Music Play

It’s been the happening thing in downtown West Palm Beach for more than 25 years. Clematis By Night is just what you need. Take a spot on the city’s Great Lawn, pick up drinks and snacks, then just lean back and listen to local groups jam with rock, reggae, Motown, or country.  It happens from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday nights.

Keep on Dancing

The music keeps on swaying on the third Sunday of the month. It’s Sunday on the Waterfront inside the Meyer Amphitheatre, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The lineup for these shows is on the wilder side. Find a spot on the Meyer’s soft grass for acts like BEATLEMANIAX-USA and Rock of the 90s.

Happy Birthday, America!

There’s much to celebrate this year and 4th On Flagler is where to let freedom ring. This show is one of the most spectacular in South Florida, it’s right over the water. Have food and drinks, listen to live music on the NewDay USA Stage located on the Palm or with a DJ stage on the south end at Post Park, then don’t miss a themed show at the Centennial Fountain.  Be there from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the rockets ignite at 9:09 p.m., Sunday July 4, along Flagler Drive.

At the Movies

Screen on the Green is where outdoor movies come alive. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the second Friday of each month, the Great Lawn is where movies are free and open air. Bring a chair, blanket, pizzas, drinks, and see first-run movies.
