Coming Soon to The Palm Beaches

South Florida continues to attract growing numbers of business and leisure travelers, and hotel developers are responding. Several new properties are recently open or opening soon in The Palm Beaches, providing groups with myriad choices for their next visits.

Whether you’re looking for a beach view, an intimate boutique experience, on-site meeting space, resort-style amenities, or all of the above, you can find the perfect property in The Palm Beaches. Here’s a look at some of the newest offerings in the area that are now welcoming groups — or will be soon.

The Ben, Autograph Collection — opening in downtown West Palm Beach in early 2020 — takes its name from a famed South Florida estate, the Ben Trovato, where female pioneer Byrd Spilman Dewey entertained guests like President Woodrow Wilson and the Vanderbilts. The new Marriott property embodies the spirit of the original West Palm Beach home and reinvents it for today’s traveler.

Attendees will enjoy 208 thoughtfully designed rooms, with views overlooking Palm Harbor Marina and the Intracoastal Waterway. The hotel features a stunning rooftop lounge with a large swimming pool and bar. Located just one block from Clematis Street, West Palm Beach’s “Main Street,” The Ben is within walking distance from The Square, the city’s hub of lifestyle activity. For groups, the property features 8,000 square feet of gathering space.

Also situated in downtown West Palm Beach, the Canopy by Hilton Hotel includes 150 rooms with modern décor and local art, along with in-demand amenities like a 55-inch TV, free Wi-Fi, and a refrigerated drawer. Especially tailored to the needs of Millennials, The Canopy has a café, restaurant, rooftop bar, and infinity pool, and is within a few blocks of the Palm Beach County Convention Center as well as several restaurants, historic landmarks, shops, and group-friendly attractions. The hotel also features a 3,000-square-foot ballroom for on-site group events.

Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach is the newest hotel in Delray Beach, recently voted one of the Best Little Beach Towns in Florida. With all the comforts and amenities of a leisure hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach also provides the location and gathering space needed for meeting groups. The Bistro, in the center of the hotel, is open for breakfast, drinks and dinner. Located just a half-mile from the beach, attendees can enjoy downtown views from The Reef Bar, Delray Beach’s first rooftop pool bar. Other nearby attractions include the Delray Beach Tennis Center, Old School Square in Pineapple Grove, and Delray Yacht Cruises.

Slated to open in early 2020, the 122-room Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens is part of a large, mixed-use project that also includes the Alton Town Center down the road. Attendees staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens can enjoy access to the plaza’s restaurants and shops and hotel amenities that make it easy to conduct business while on the road.

Opening in early 2020, the ultra-luxurious Amrit Resort and Residences in Singer Island will set a new standard for wellness travel. Its 153 guest rooms and 34 grand wellness suites with unobstructed ocean views provide access to a premier oceanfront spa, yoga gardens, fitness studio, and a number of gourmet dining options with naturally fresh and clean cuisine. Spanning nearly eight acres of prime oceanfront property, the resort also features more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space for events.

A historic 1920s hotel in Palm Beach is undergoing a transformation to become White Elephant Palm Beach, one of the area’s most luxurious properties. The new design will reflect a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean Revival architecture that fits perfectly into its location in the heart of historic Palm Beach. Scheduled to open in early 2020, the White Elephant Palm Beach will include 13 deluxe rooms, 19 spacious suites that are residential in scale, and two penthouse suites featuring large living rooms, fully equipped kitchens, and large, rooftop outdoor terraces with views of the coast.
