Little gets meeting guests more connected to the outdoor majesty of The Palm Beaches than a beach cleanup outing with Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, which is dedicated to the protection of sea turtles, or Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, an organization devoted to community sustainability and beauty. Attendees will be listening to the calming surf and gazing at blue waters as they put buckets and grabbers to use to preserve our exquisite natural environments.

Hosting an off-site event at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, which is committed to the conservation of ocean ecosystems, will steep event guests in majestic surroundings right at the ocean’s edge while supporting the rescue of local wildlife, especially endangered sea turtles.  Inspirational program options include tours of the in-house sea turtle hospital, Guided Turtle Walks and other local eco-excursions that highlight various types of flora and fauna. Enlist an in-house expert as a guest speaker for a presentation about The Palm Beaches’ native wildlife and ecosystem.

With more than 40 idyllic natural areas encompassing everything from mangroves and lagoons to hardwood forests and oyster reefs, The Palm Beaches offer an enormous array of expert representatives who can entertain and inform meeting guests with uniquely Florida insights about wildlife and natural environments. Bring in a guest speaker to address the stunning beauty and unique ecology of one or more of the natural areas, preservation efforts and special outdoor recreation opportunities.

Treat meeting guests to a mouthwatering multicourse dinner at 20-acre Swank Farms, which grows more than 360 varieties of specialty produce. Prepared by resident chefs and held in an 8,500-square-foot lighted pole barn, the meal’s one-of-a-kind setting is sure to be savored just as much as the farm-to-table fare.

Get a day of meetings off to a perfect start with a morning yoga session on the beach, which can be led by the Palm Health Foundation. With a soft sandy shore as a platform for postures and gentle waves as a backdrop, feeling at one with nature is a given. Event guests are sure to come away energized and relaxed, ready to focus on the business at hand.

Outdoor Experiences and Natural Beauty Highlights

Riverbend Park

Some destinations in The Palm Beaches boast old Florida beauty and appeal, and this park is one. It’s an idyllic place for nature buffs and history lovers to walk, bike and ride along shell rock trails; see ancient Indian middens and Seminole War battle sites; spot deer and wild turkeys; and fish, kayak or canoe on the scenic Loxahatchee River.

Intracoastal Catamaran Tours with Visit Palm Beach

This company offers sightseeing tours through the Intracoastal Waterway aboard their Hakuna Matata 50’ catamaran, which provides views of mansions, mega yachts and gorgeous barrier islands brimming with tropical plants and animals.

Manatee Lagoon

This FPL Eco-Discovery Center works hard to educate people about Lake Worth Lagoon and manatees through lectures, exhibits focused on the local environment and observation areas that provide views of the “gentle giants” as they congregate in the warm water that draws them in cold weather.

Palm Beach Zoo

Known as much for its animal conservation projects as its 190 species of animal residents, this top-rated zoo immerses visitors in lush tropical environments as they view the wildlife. And the zoo’s Tropics Café, nestled on the shore of Baker Lake, dishes up delicious meals that are a match for the visual feasts.

Lion Country Safari

Home to more than 900 animals running through seven wide-open habitats, this park lets you delve into the area’s wild side. See large herds of zebra, rhino and giraffe, plus many more animals on the 4-mile drive-through safari, attend an educational habitat talk and enjoy animal encounters.

Morikami Japanese Gardens

An extension of the on-site museum, the six gardens here are a captivating living exhibit inspired by major gardens in Japan. Roam the pine forest and bamboo groves, view intriguing rock arrangements and stepping stones, and gaze at the tranquil ponds and cascading waterfalls from arched bridges.
