While much of the world is on “stay at home” order, we know that you may be craving travel inspiration and experiences that satisfy your exploration needs. Whether you find yourself social distancing in The Palm Beaches or elsewhere, we’ve compiled a fun and refreshing list of experiences that you and your family can enjoy from the comfort of your own couch. While being indoors can be limiting, here are ways to branch out without leaving the safety and convenience of your home. 

Attractions Offering “Social Distancing” Experiences

With the kids out of school, these attractions offer creative and educational ways to keep them engaged.

Armory Arts Center Providing art classes, exhibits, lectures and special events during their usual programming, the Armory has found a way to bring their art exhibit and artists to you through a virtual tour through the gallery.

Flagler Museum Experience a virtual tour of the Flagler Museum’s first- and second-floor rooms, as well as the Pavilion. Audio tours are also available for free downloads to mobile devices (iPhone, iPad and Android) to add to this special experience. The app is called “Flagler Museum Tour” in Apple’s App Store, and “Flagler Museum App” in Google Play.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center Enter this virtual Coastal Classroom to learn about sea turtles and ocean education. Every day via Facebook Live at 2 p.m. EDT, LMC’s education team will conduct 15- to 20-minute learning lessons focused on various sea turtle and ocean conservation topics. These virtual learning modules will leverage the museum’s innovative sea turtle hospital and engage viewers with sea turtle patients. Activity sheets, interactive quizzes and more are available on LMC’s online resource website.

Hilton West Palm Beach Bring your practice to a new level as you follow your instructor for virtual full moon and new moon yoga classes (beginning in April).

Lion Country Safari Tune in for STEM-based virtual field trips via the Safari’s Facebook page. Done in partnership with The School District of Palm Beach County for students, families and teachers to utilize for remote learning.   

Norton Museum of Art As advocates for the arts, this museum brings short intriguing videos of artworks s well as artists featured in the Museum’s collection. 

The Square Join the virtual community of The Square, through a series of offerings from cooking demos and gardening workshops to streamed comedy, concerts and workouts. 

South Florida Science Center & Aquarium Get ready for virtual science as the Science Center shares live aquarium programs, science demos, virtual exhibit tours, story time and more. They’ve also provided a helpful list for parents to enjoy with their little ones as well

Worth Avenue A “shop from home” experience is now available through White Glove Service, a program developed exclusively for stores that are part of the Worth Avenue Association.
