These are songs which resonate with all of us…bring back memories of a time, a place, a person…and just make us feel good and nostalgic.

Nights at the Museum at the Cox Science Center & Aquarium, West Palm Beach

On the last Friday of select months, guests of all ages can enjoy extended hours of exploration at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Each Night at the Museum is a different theme, which includes various interactive science crafts, activities, exhibits, planetarium shows, and a chance to view the night sky in Palm Beach County’s only public observatory.

On April 26, the event is “Dinomania.” Activities include fossil sifting and imprints, exploring the dinosaur evolution exhibit, a dino terrarium lab, mini golf, observatory, and more.

Dance. All. Day. Fest, West Palm Beach

Dance. All. Day. Fest is a community festival with Natural Movers Foundation that encourages movement, creativity, and fun for all ages. The free event includes community dance classes led by local teaching artists, pop-up performances by some of South Florida’s most talented artists and companies, interactive arts activities, delicious local fare from The Square restaurants, and more.

Sensory Saturdays at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Juno Beach

In recognition of National Autism Acceptance Month, experience a new way to enjoy Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) with Sensory Saturdays

Sensory Saturdays was designed for adults and children on the autism spectrum to enjoy a quieter, more inclusive time at the Center with their friends, families, and caregivers. Sensory Saturdays is a free program and is held on the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m., before regular operating hours, with minimal crowds and sensory triggers.

During this hour, guests will be able to explore the outdoor hospital and the indoor exhibits in an environment with dimmed lighting and minimized sounds. Should guests wish to extend their visit beyond the hour of Sensory Saturdays, they have the option to checkout one of LMC’s sensory backpacks to continue their experience. These backpacks contain various tools including over-the-ear headphones, sunglasses, gloves, communication cards, and sensory toys.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is an international event celebrated on the last Saturday in April at 10 am, local time, to achieve a “wave” effect that travels around the globe. The event allows Tai Chi and Qigong practitioners to meet, exchange ideas, make new friends, and introduce the exercises to people who are unfamiliar with them and would like to learn.

Morning Beach Yoga at The Seagate Beach Club, Delray Beach
