6. Morikami Museum’s Hatsume Fair – Celebrate the first buds of spring at Morikami Museum’s largest annual event, Hatsume Fair. The normally tranquil Morikami Park transforms into a unique Japanese spring festival featuring three stages, avenues of artisan booths, plant sales, Asian and American food vendors and children’s activities. This year’s annual event will take place Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2015.

7. Surfing Museum – Explore South Florida’s surfing history at this new Delray Beach institution, founded by The Palm Beach County Surfing History Project. Discover locally made surfboards spanning from past decades, review archival photographs and newspaper clippings from past surfing contests. Be sure to follow the series of panels that tell the story of surfing’s history in Florida.

8. Apeiro Restaurant in Delray Marketplace – Burt Rapoport and David Blonsky’s, progressive Mediterranean restaurant opened its doors at Delray Marketplace in January 2014. Apeiro, which means infinite in Greek, features a contemporary menu, inspired by the countries that make up the Mediterranean’s rich and diverse culinary culture. From Morocco and Italy to Greece and Portugal, the menu at Apeiro takes a trip around the Mediterranean, showcasing the simple presentations and healthy, fresh ingredients the region is known for.
