1. Explore Juno Beach Park

Open from sunrise to sunset, Juno Beach Park is a must-visit destination. With soft, luscious sand and phenomenal ocean vistas, it’s the perfect spot for a beach day. The park offers amenities like restrooms, outdoor showers, sheltered picnic tables, and a guarded swimming area. Don’t forget to bring your surfboard as a designated surfing area is available!

2. Visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a haven for turtle lovers. Here, you can learn about sea turtles and see them up close. The center serves as a sea turtle research, rehabilitation, education, and conservation facility, and it patrols 9.5 miles of beach in Palm Beach County, rehabilitates nearly 100 sea turtles, and cares for thousands of hatchlings each year. Their research helps us better understand sea turtles and the ocean ecosystems. Remember, Juno Beach is one of the most densely nested beaches of loggerhead sea turtles in the world with five of the world’s seven sea turtle species found off its coast!

3. Stroll Down the Juno Beach Pier

The Juno Beach Pier is a scenic spot perfect for a leisurely stroll. The pier offers a variety of amenities for visitors. It extends 990 feet into the ocean, providing great opportunities for saltwater fishing and enjoying the scenic view. The full-service Pier House features a friendly guest services team, a snack bar, and a gift store. It also offers a variety of fishing tackle, including rental poles and bait. Parking for the pier is free across the street at Juno Beach Park. Since 2014, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center manages the pier, which is part of the Responsible Pier Initiative.

4. Discover the Juno Dunes Natural Area

For nature enthusiasts, the Juno Dunes Natural Area is a must-visit.

This natural area is a 576-acre nature preserve and park that offers visitors the opportunity to travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The preserve is home to the highest natural point in Palm Beach County, providing a great view of the surrounding area atop an ancient sand dune. The west tract has several miles of trails and floating docks to allow boaters access to the site from the Intracoastal Waterway. The area is part of the Great Florida Bird and Wildlife Trail and features a variety of habitats, including pine flatwoods and coastal tropical hammocks. The park also offers accessible trails to a covered observation platform.

5. Relax at Pelican Lake

Pelican Lake is a serene spot perfect for relaxation or a picnic with the family. Spanning 12 acres, the lake is surrounded by an 8-foot concrete paver-brick sidewalk, making for a leisurely one-mile walk from the north end of the Town Center property around the lake and back. The area is teeming with a wide variety of vegetation and waterfowl, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The lake is dotted with gazebos, park benches, and picnic tables, making it an ideal spot for both visitors and residents. The lantern-style lighting around the lake illuminates the area, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque scenery both day and night.

6. Dine at Hurricane Café or Ke’e Grill

For two decades, the local award-winning American Hurricane Café has been delighting patrons with its delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. The eatery, renowned for its warm hospitality, provides both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. The menu at Hurricane Café is a gastronomic adventure, featuring upscale dishes that blend unique flavors.

Try their Sweet Potato Crusted Grouper complemented with Mango Ginger Remoulade, or the Sweet Chili Roasted Salmon garnished with scallions and wonton chips. If you prefer something with a Southern touch, their Louisiana-style Crab Cake Benedict served with house-made beer mustard is a must-try. 7. Spot Sea Turtles at Loggerhead Park

Home to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Loggerhead Park features a pavilion, a play area, a nature trail, and lifeguards on the beach. The park often serves as an educational area for Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s educational programs. Over the summer, the center organizes Guided Turtle Walks on the beach, a unique program that allows visitors to observe the nesting and egg-laying process of loggerhead sea turtles. They also offer Hatchling release Programs that allow visitors to learn about the sea turtles and their hatching process. The program begins with an educational lesson about sea turtles and their nesting behavior and concludes with a walk to Juno Beach to view hatchlings being released by LMC staff.

8. Go for a run at Bert Winters Park

This 16.5-acre park spanning 805 feet along the Intracoastal Waterway is the go-to spot for locals and visitors who want to stay active. The park features tennis courts, a baseball field, a playground, picnic tables, a fishing area, and two docks and boat launches.

Bert Winters Park is open from sunrise to sunset. Lighted court facilities are open until 9:00 pm, and lighted athletic fields (permit required) are open until 10:00 pm.

Juno Beach is conveniently located near several vibrant cities and towns. Just a short drive north, you’ll discover Jupiter and Tequesta, offering beach parks, mini golf courses, historic lighthouses, and more. Heading south from Juno Beach, you’ll encounter a plethora of exciting attractions such as the Rapids Waterpark in Riviera Beach, or natural havens like Singer Island and Peanut Island.

Venture further south to West Palm Beach, the largest city in The Palm Beaches.
