The Chesterfield Palm Beach New Year’s Eve Gala, Palm Beach

The posh, pink Chesterfield Palm Beach will get 2020 off to a swanky start with its second annual Gala Dinner in the iconic Leopard Lounge. Enjoy cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and seated dinner, followed by dancing, live music and a Champagne toast. $350 per person. Reservations required.

New Year’s Eve: A Donna Summer Celebration, Delray Beach

Strut your “hot stuff” at this dance party in Delray Beach’s Old School Square Park. The concert celebrates the music of disco queen Donna Summer, starring her sister and back-up singer Mary Gaines Bernard. The party starts with the Delray Beach fireworks display at 9 p.m.  $20 general admission; $50 premium (includes reserved seating); $100-$200 VIP

The Breakers Palm Beach New Year’s Eve Celebrations, Palm Beach

If visions of glamorous galas dance in your head, The Breakers Palm Beach is your ultimate New Year’s Eve destination. The luxurious resort blows it out with not one, but three events: 

New Year’s Eve Dinner at Flagler Steakhouse is an elegant feast for the senses, featuring a special three-course prix-fixe menu. $295 per person. Reservations recommended. 

The Ultimate New Year’s Eve at HMF promises a night of dancing, dining and toasting, with a multi-course dinner and live entertainment inside the resort’s swanky HMF lounge. $450 per person, $6,300 for Communal Table (up to 14 guests), $9,000 for VIP Wine Room (dinner for 20 guests). Reservations required.

Experience one of Palm Beach’s most iconic celebrations at the black-tie New Year’s Eve Fantasy Ball, held in The Breakers’ Ponce de Leon Ballroom. There will be a premium raw bar and specialty food stations, followed by a four-course dinner with wine pairings and open bar. Dance to live music, raise a glass (or many glasses) of Champagne, and then enjoy a breakfast buffet beginning at 12:30 a.m. $650 per person for hotel guests and members, $750 for outside guests. Eau Palm Beach Roaring ’20s New Year’s Eve Gala, Manalapan

Ring in the 2020s in 1920s style at this lavish event, featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, a plated dinner, open bar, live music and dancing, a balloon drop and Champagne toast.  $385 for 21+, $310 for ages 16-20. Room packages start at $1,879 per night.

New Year’s Eve Live Music on the Square, West Palm Beach

The Square will be the scene for a rockin’ outdoor party featuring music by Mister Trombone & Friends. December 31 is also the final night of Miracle on The Square, part of the international Miracle Holiday Pop-Up Bar, so go raise one last glass of Christmas cheer.

Rock and Soul Extravaganza at Boca Raton Resort & Club

Music lovers should snag tickets to this adults-only party featuring three music acts: jazz drummer Max Weinberg, Five for Fighting and Powerhouse Next Generation. New Year’s Eve at The Addison – Roaring 2020s, Boca Raton

New Year’s Eve at Drive Shack, West Palm Beach

This family gaming and entertainment hotspot will host a 1920s-themed party with live entertainment. The Light It Up package gets you Unlimited BayPlay plus reserved bay for up to six people, while the VIP package adds on snack boards, a bottle of Prosecco and more. New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance Party at the Pavilion Grille, Boca Raton

ASL Nation Expo Presents New Year’s Eve Party, Lake Worth

The American Sign Language Club will host its annual New Year’s Eve party at the Palm Beach County Association of the Deaf, with performances by Aarron Loggins and Sheena Lyles, a live DJ, open bar and food. Formal attire. $50 in advance, $70 at the door

New Year’s Eve Gala at PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens

Get into the swing of the new year at this all-inclusive shindig. There will be a multi-station gourmet dinner buffet, unlimited open bar, big band dancing and entertainment by Wonderama Band, and a Champagne toast at midnight. Kids get their own special celebration at Eau Palm Beach’s Ocean Ballroom, with pillowcase decorating, a breakfast-for-dinner buffet, magic- and balloon art show, open dessert bar and more, culminating in a balloon drop at midnight.  $150++ per child

Boca Raton Resort & Club Neon Night and Sweet New Year, Boca Raton 

The under-21 crowd can ring in the new year at one of two events: 

Neon Night Featuring Rock with U DJs at the Tower Pool is a glow-in-the-dark party for teens ages 13-20, with interactive games, LED party favors, live stunts by Surf Pros, food stations and mocktails. $195++ per person. Reservations required.

Sweet New Year offers kids ages 5-12 a fun evening of dancing, crafts, games, bounce houses, movies, a dinner buffet and desserts galore! $110++ per person. Reservations required.

Noon Year’s Eve at Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society, West Palm Beach

Kids can join the party without missing their bedtime at this eighth annual event. Drop by from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for a festive dance party at the Fountain Plaza, “sparkling” gummy bear toast and ball drop at noon. Event is included with regular zoo admission.
