Travelers flying to and from Palm Beach County may notice a new name for the West Palm Beach airport.
Effective July 9, 2026, Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is being renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport as required by Florida law following state legislation and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval.
While the airport’s name is changing, travelers can expect the same convenient airport experience, with operations, airlines, parking, and services continuing as normal. Signage and branding updates will be completed in phases over time.

The airport is being renamed following Florida legislation signed into law in 2026. The law requires Palm Beach International Airport to be renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport, subject to FAA approval and related implementation requirements.

Yes. The airport is still located at 1000 James L. Turnage Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Only the airport’s name is changing.

The airport’s passenger code (IATA) will continue to be PBI until August 18, 2026, when it is scheduled to change to DJT. Travelers booking flights before that date should continue searching using PBI.
