Shopping for a Bargain in The Palm Beaches

Shopping for a Bargain in The Palm Beaches

While Worth Avenue takes the prize for the most acclaimed shopping in The Palm Beaches, you only have to stray a little from the row of designer storefronts to score a great bargain.

From consignment shops on Royal Poinciana Way to boutiques in the up-and-coming Northwood Village, this is a thrifty shopper’s dream. The following are just a few of the places you’ll want to check out while shopping in The Palm Beaches.

Dina C’s Fab & Funky

Once a hidden gem of Palm Beach, Dina Capehart’s fabulous boutique has seen its fair share of the spotlight lately – like inclusion in Southern Living and Travel + Leisure. Stepping into Dina C’s feels a bit like a dream – the kind where you’re surrounded by racks and racks of gorgeous gowns, chic accessories and endless possibilities. The shop is filled with vintage pieces from the 1920s through today, and features almost every designer you could possibly hope for. As Travel + Leisure said, Capehart “specializes in the coveted castoffs of Palm Beach society—1960s Pucci, ’70s Halston, and ’80s Chanel.”

House of Lavande

House of Lavande has been the go-to place for vintage jewelry for almost 10 years. From gold to gems and everything in between, the collection triggers a memory of “The Great Gatsby” with all its sparkle. For years, owner Tracy Smith has traveled the world searching flea markets, estate sales and jewelry meccas to stock her shelves. More recently Smith started her own collection of jewelry, inspired by her travels and taste for beautiful things, and it’s available in the boutique as well. The store’s collection totals more than 10,000 pieces and features top-name designers such as Christian Dior, YSL and Kenneth Jay Lane.

Attitudes

Just two blocks from The Breakers, Attitudes has been in business for more than 20 years, providing upscale consignment for fabulous Palm Beach locals and visitors alike – even Martha Stewart shopped here! With an emphasis on value, the store stocks some of the top names in fashion, like Chanel, Fendi, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Manolo Blahnik, Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Christian Lacroix, Jimmy Choo and more with competitive pricing. This is also the place to go if you’re searching for vintage Lilly Pulitzer – a must-have for any true Palm Beacher.
