Updates from Discover the Palm Beaches

Discover The Palm Beaches continues to earn national recognition for excellence in business travel. In the latest Meetings Today awards, DTPB was named Best Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) in the South, celebrating its commitment to providing exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for planners and attendees alike. 

Additionally, the Palm Beach County Convention Center was honored as Best Convention Center, reinforcing its reputation as a premier venue for conferences, trade shows, and large-scale events.

Hotel Developments

Debuting at the end of 2024, The Belgrove in West Palm Beach is a one-of-a-kind modern oasis celebrating polished elegance and laid-back luxury. With a total of 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, venues include nine meeting rooms and two ballrooms, and outdoor venues range from picturesque terraces to fairways, the Lake Lawn, pool deck, and more. The resort features a highly experienced team of culinary professionals, event planners, catering and butler staff, and a dedicated concierge for every type of gathering and event.

Following a $130 million redesign, the Beach Club at The Boca Raton has reopened as a refreshed oceanfront escape tailored for elevated group experiences. Part of the resort’s $375 million transformation, the Beach Club now features 210 reimagined rooms and suites — many with ocean views and private terraces — plus new dining by Michelin-starred chefs, a chic arrival experience, upgraded fitness center, and versatile event spaces from coastal patios to oceanfront lawns. The Breakers Palm Beach unveiled spectacular new tennis and racquet facilities within its 140 acres of oceanfront property. Following a $12 million renovation, the 104,000-square-foot complex now features 16 state-of-the-art, open-air courts — including tennis, pickleball, and padel — each with an elegant comfort pergola offering shaded seating, refreshments, and premium amenities. Highlights include the world’s first CapillaryFlow hydroponic grass courts, clay and cushioned hard courts with innovative hydration and blended play systems, and The Veranda, a refined reception and lounge for players and spectators.

A beloved landmark since 1925, The Gulfstream Hotel in Lake Worth Beach is set to reopen in early 2026 following a full restoration that preserves its historic charm while introducing modern amenities for today’s travelers. The six-story boutique property will feature 90 thoughtfully redesigned guest rooms, a signature restaurant, and more than 3,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a boardroom, meeting room, and rooftop venue. With its mix of Old Florida character and contemporary sophistication, The Gulfstream Hotel will once again serve as a vibrant hub for gatherings in the heart of The Palm Beaches.

Recently opened and already recognized as one of the best new hotels by Travel + Leisure, Palm House brings a fresh, whimsical take on the classic Palm Beach aesthetic. With artful touches and bold, jewel-box interiors, the boutique hotel offers 79 spacious rooms and suites, ideal for intimate group stays and full property buyouts. For gatherings, Palm House features 4,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space, including a ballroom, pre-function atrium, and an outdoor garden terrace overlooking the pool.

A historic landmark infused with Roaring 1920s glamour, The Brazilian Court offers an intimate, 80-room retreat framed by Spanish Colonial architecture, lush courtyards, and ocean breezes in the heart of Palm Beach Island. Recent enhancements include newly refreshed guestrooms, a boutique lobby shop, lively garden programming, and BC One—a sleek 44-foot Italian Solaris Power Yacht, exclusive and complimentary to guests, and complete with a dedicated yachting concierge.

For meetings and events, the hotel features 5,600 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space, perfect for executive retreats, incentive trips, sales conferences, training seminars, and dinner banquets for groups of up to 150 guests. Tailor-made gatherings are elevated with fully customized planning, tech-forward venues, and award-winning catering from Café Boulud, including signature “Boulud Breaks” from Chef Daniel Boulud.

Fresh from a $7.5 million renovation, the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center offers redesigned guest rooms and suites with calming coastal tones, modern finishes, and floor-to-ceiling windows. New mini M-Club lounges on executive floors provide select perks in quieter settings, complemented by the full M-Club experience in the main lobby lounge. With more than 13,000 square feet of flexible meeting space across five event rooms and nine breakout rooms, the hotel can accommodate groups of up to 550 guests.

The West Palm Beach Marriott has transformed its meeting spaces and completed a multi-million-dollar guest room renovation. The hotel now offers 16 venues with more than 17,000 square feet of flexible space, including the 6,615-square-foot Regency Ballroom — the largest in the city — along with 13 breakout rooms, a Boardroom, and an updated 2,200-square-foot covered pavilion. Newly renovated guest rooms, inspired by Florida’s epic sunsets, feature refreshed workstations with natural light and ample desk space, while concierge-level accommodations provide access to refined and relaxing lounges.

Hilton West Palm Beach has unveiled beautifully renovated meeting spaces, enhancing its 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venues with new wallpaper and paneling, upgraded carpet, a refreshed board table, and updated banquet equipment. From six flexible meeting rooms and a grand ballroom to two outdoor event lawns and a vibrant pool deck, the hotel offers stylish settings for meetings, events, and celebrations. Directly connected to the Palm Beach County Convention Center via an enclosed walkway, guests also enjoy seamless access to an additional 350,000 square feet of event space, complemented by Hilton’s exceptional service and memorable menus.

With a history spanning nearly a century, The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach is expected to reopen in late 2025, once again embracing the name it held for more than 50 years. The landmark Mediterranean Revival property is undergoing a complete renovation that will restore its iconic façade and interiors to their original splendor, plus modern amenities. When complete, the 37-room luxury hotel will feature updated guestrooms, a pool, lounge, courtyard, and a vibrant new restaurant inspired by the French Riviera.

The Seagate in Delray Beach unveiled a multimillion-dollar, property-wide transformation — its first major upgrade since opening in 2009. Enhancements span the lobby, 157 guestrooms and suites, event spaces, pool, and dining. The resort also completed a renovation of its two-story Beach Club with refreshed dining and lounge spaces, as well as its private 18-hole championship golf course, redesigned with expansive new greens, reshaped bunkers, and upgraded practice facilities.

With nearly 25,000 square feet of event space, venues span the hotel, Golf Club, and Beach Club. The hotel offers 3,900 square feet across the Pool Deck, Reef Ballroom, and Venetian Street lobby bar. At the Golf Club, 15,100 square feet includes a classic stone Courtyard and versatile Grand Ballroom, while the Beach Club adds 5,300 square feet of oceanfront options from beachfront ceremonies to upstairs terraces with sweeping Atlantic views.

The Seagate also opened Bourbon Steak in March 2025. Helmed by Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina, the restaurant specializes in prime American beef, Kobe, and Wagyu prepared with his signature slow-poaching and wood-fired grilling techniques, complemented by seasonal seafood and local ingredients.

Noteworthy Attraction Updates

A2 Events in West Palm Beach is now offering exclusive walking and biking tours for corporate groups staying at nearby hotels like The Ben and the Hilton. Highlights include an Art & Architecture walking tour through Howard Park, Grandview Heights, and Flamingo Park — with curated stops for cocktails, appetizers, and optional picnics — plus other corporate group activities like pizza-making classes and more. These new offerings complement A2 Events’ existing lineup of group experiences, including a food tour via bus, Palm Beach shopping and food/history tours near Worth Avenue, and bike tours with naturalists along the Lake Trail.

Opening in late 2025, Glazer Hall will be Palm Beach’s only waterfront performing arts venue. Housed in the Volk-designed Royal Poinciana Playhouse, this iconic site is being reimagined as a 24,000-square-foot cultural arts center. The 400-seat theater and flexible event space will usher in a new era of performing arts, group, and community events.

For groups seeking venues that emphasize sustainability, Loggerhead Marinelife Center introduces The Eleanor, a newly renovated 5,000-square-foot event space designed for unforgettable weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations. Nestled along the coast, The Eleanor blends seaside charm with modern amenities, including indoor spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views, and additional outdoor spaces including a sky deck, café deck, and auditorium.

Meat Market offers 10,000 square feet of versatile private dining and event space, accommodating everything from intimate dinner parties of eight to large corporate gatherings of 1,000. Groups can enjoy access to the Renaissance Boca Raton hotel’s outdoor pool area with lounge seating, private cabanas, and a covered veranda — ideal for networking or relaxed socializing. Rapids Waterpark makes a splash as the largest waterpark in South Florida, with 42 thrilling slides and attractions. Groups of 15+ enjoy discounted admission, while catered packages with private pavilions are available for 50 or more. Silverball Retro Arcade is now hosting group and corporate events. Cocktail classes now host up to 30, and the new Cocktail & Culinary Experience blends mixology and chef-driven bites in one vibrant venue — perfect for afternoon or evening events.
