Founded in 1936, the Society of the Four Arts is a nonprofit arts & culture organization and one of Palm Beach’s oldest and most respected arts destinations. It offers a dynamic lineup of engaging and inspiring programming, including art exhibitions, notable speakers, concerts, films, and educational programs. The 10-acre campus along the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Beach includes a performance hall, an art gallery designed by famed architect Addison Mizner, a modern education center devoted to lifelong learning, a library, a children’s library, and beautiful sculpture gardens designed in 1938.

The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum offers tours of Henry M. Flagler’s Gilded Age-era estate, Whitehall. When it was completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler’s Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was “more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world. The home was used by Flagler and his wife as a winter retreat until 1913, the 100,000-square-foot mansion is today a National Historic Landmark. The museum has restored Whitehall in all its gilded glamour, and highlights Flagler’s accomplishments in shaping Florida’s history and America’s Gilded Age. Changing exhibitions and special programs are offered throughout the Palm Beach season, and visitors can climb aboard Flagler’s private Railcar No. 91 which dates to 1896.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Lake Worth Beach, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County serves as the county’s official arts agency. Housed in the historic Robert M. Montgomery Jr. Building, this vibrant hub offers rotating exhibitions, performances, and events that showcase the talents of local artists. Visitors can explore three distinct galleries, enjoy live music in the open-air Project Space, and shop for unique, handmade items at the Roe Green Uniquely Palm Beach Store. The Council also provides resources and support for artists and cultural organizations, fostering a thriving arts community in The Palm Beaches.

After immersing yourself in the local arts scene, take a scenic drive over to the Lake Worth Beach Casino and Park. While it no longer operates as a casino, this historic gem retains its original 1920s architecture, offering visitors a glimpse into Lake Worth Beach’s rich past. Just underneath the Casino you will find Benny’s on the Beach. Amazing seafood and a local favorite. Their Motto: “Where every day is a vacation”.
