Haitian American Music & Food Festival – West Palm Beach

The Haitian American Music & Food Festival in West Palm Beach celebrates Haitian customs and culture through music, food, and entertainment. It promotes good fellowship, preservation of cultural artifacts, and educates the public on Haitian contributions to American heritage. The event also supports charitable causes and collaborates with non-profit organizations for fundraising. Full Moon Silent Disco & Cacao Ceremony – Riviera Beach

Date & Time: July 2, starting at 7:00 pm.
On July 2nd, join an enchanting evening at Singer Island Beach in Riviera Beach for the Full Moon Silent Disco & Cacao Ceremony. The event begins at 7:00 pm, offering a unique experience under the illuminating light of the full moon. Start the evening with a Cacao Ceremony and meditation, where participants set our intentions for the dance. Cacao, known for its heart-opening properties, has been used for centuries in Mesoamerican cultures. Following the ceremony, immerse yourself in a guided ecstatic dance. This is your opportunity to move freely and explore new ways of expressing yourself through dance. As the dance portion concludes, musician Kev Ohm will treat us to live music and a vocal sound bath.

Full Moon Yoga at The Square – West Palm Beach

Date & Time: July 3, 8 pm – 9 pm.
On July 3rd, embrace the serene energy of the full moon with Full Moon Yoga at The Square in West Palm Beach. Led by Shelly Saunier, this yin yoga practice takes place on the rooftop of the Hibiscus Garage, offering a tranquil setting under the night sky. From 8 pm to 9 pm, practitioners of all levels are invited to participate in this rejuvenating yoga session, aligning their bodies and minds with the new beginnings symbolized by the full moon. Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival – Jupiter and Royal Palm Beach

Garden Explorers Summer Camp – West Palm Beach

Dates & Time: Three Week-Long Sessions, July 10-28.
Calling all nature curious youngsters! Join the Garden Explorers Summer Camp hosted by Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach. This science-based camp is designed for kids aged 7 to 11 and offers an exciting and educational experience.
Taking place from July 10th to July 28th, the camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm. Each week-long session is limited to 20 participants, ensuring an engaging and personalized experience for every child.

Norton Open Studio at The Square – West Palm Beach

Date & Time: July 11, 6 pm -9 pm.
Join the Norton Open Studio at The Square, a new and free program held in partnership with The Square in Downtown West Palm Beach. On July 11, the studio will feature Happy Talking Puppets with artist Ronni Gerstel. This interactive art session invites friends and families to unleash their creativity and work alongside professional artists.
Participants will have the opportunity to create unique paper plate puppets using yarn, markers/crayons, and delightful decorations. These imaginative puppets come to life with a simple tug on a string, allowing them to engage in storytelling, jokes, or even join in a sing-along.
Norton Open Studio at The Square welcomes attendees of all ages, and no prior registration is required. Children should be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian throughout the session.

A Night of FUNdraising Magic With Mentalist & Comedy Magician Noah Sonie – Delray Beach

“Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank” follows Hank, a down-on-his-luck hound, as he encounters a town full of cats in need of a hero. With a ruthless villain threatening their village, Hank must step up, train with a reluctant teacher, and join forces with the villagers to save the day. The only problem is that cats hate dogs.

Summer 2023 Outdoor Movie Series – Delray Beach

Date & Time: July 20, 8 pm (open at 7 pm).
The Delray Beach Historical Society invites you to their 2nd outdoor summer movie series on the North Lawn. Step back in time and enjoy films that capture significant moments in our nation’s history or portray important events through journalism.
On July 20th, the featured movie is “All The President’s Men,” hailed as one of the most thrilling and captivating films ever made. Join the journey of two Washington Post reporters as they uncover the Watergate scandal, the largest presidential scandal in US history. Starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, this gripping political detective story received four Academy Awards and is rated R.
Gates open at 7 pm, and the movie starts at 8 pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a captivating film under the stars.

Sunset Stroll at the Morikami – Delray Beach

Date & Time: July 20, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
On July 20th, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens invites you to join their Sunset Stroll event. From 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, the museum will open its doors, allowing visitors to leisurely explore their six distinct gardens. Take in the serene beauty of the surroundings as you embark on a peaceful walk through the gardens.
While strolling, you can satisfy your appetite with light hors d’oeuvres available for purchase at the Cornell Café. Don’t forget to visit the Museum Store, which will be open for browsing and offers a variety of unique items. To enhance your experience, enjoy live musical performances on the lakefront terrace, creating a harmonious ambiance to accompany your leisurely walk.
