The Shakespeare Festival is proud to present its premiere production of William Shakespeare’s KING LEAR. Caught in a carousel of memory, the head of a dysfunctional royal family grapples with power-hungry children and the threat of losing the empire he created. Real and imagined worlds coalesce, creating a political and personal horror that threatens to swallow the mind of the monarch.
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is a 501(c)3 professional theater company dedicated to enhancing the accessibility and appreciation for Shakespearean, classic and contemporary theater for all ages and socioeconomic levels.
Parking for Shakespeare by the Sea is free and located behind the grass seating area and across the street. Accessible parking is also available with wheelchair access.
While in Jupiter, be sure to stop and shop at Harbourside Place, you’ll enjoy outstanding food flavors, specialty stores and revel in Intracoastal Waterway views. For even more incredible vistas of The Palm Beaches and Atlantic Ocean, climb atop historic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Take in sights of boats traveling through the inlet, easy-going manatees, and kayakers on the National Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River.
