Every visit helps keep The Palm Beaches thriving for residents and visitors alike.

Tourism in The Palm Beaches goes beyond visitors and vacations. It’s part of what makes our community shine. Visitors support the place we call home and strengthen it in ways that are not always easy for residents to see.

That’s the idea behind our Tourism Shines in The Palm Beaches campaign.
The Palm Beaches’ 10.7 million visitors each year may arrive for sun and sand, but their experiences go far beyond our 47 miles of pristine coastline.
They spend time in our 39 distinct cities and towns, explore our neighborhoods, dine at local restaurants, shop at small businesses, and attend festivals and cultural events. Many discover the same places we proudly recommend to friends and family.
These everyday choices matter. They provide direct financial support to local businesses, helping them stay open, grow and succeed. Visitors sustain jobs and create opportunities for entrepreneurs. They also bring energy that keeps The Palm Beaches thriving throughout the year.
Taken together, these impacts add up in a powerful way. Tourism is one of the primary drivers of our economy, supporting $11.6 billion in economic impact and nearly 95,000 local jobs.
Visitors support a wide range of industries, from hospitality and retail to arts and culture, touching nearly every part of our community.
Discover The Palm Beaches proudly focuses on Destination Stewardship because it means caring for our community while sharing it with others. It’s about protecting what makes us special and ensuring it remains that way for both residents and visitors. The Tourism Shines campaign helps bring that message closer to home. Through outreach and storytelling, the campaign highlights tourism as part of our local economy and part of everyday life in The Palm Beaches. We continue to keep a local focus as we tell that story. Initiatives like #LoveThePalmBeaches and Sea to Preserve encourage residents to take pride in where they live and to help care for it.
While tourism does not solve every challenge, it does help support the businesses, experiences and strong sense of place that define our community.
When tourism succeeds, our community shines. That’s what makes The Palm Beaches a great place to live and to visit.
