Beach Yoga – Lake Worth Fitness instructor Kerri Verna has risen to social media fame for her Instagram account @beachyogagirl, and she shares her love of both the ocean and yoga during her weekly classes on the beach of Lake Worth. Channel your inner yogi in nature’s “best yoga studio” – the beach!

Paddleboard Yoga – Riviera Beach Paddle Boarding Palm Beach offers a variety of fitness classes to enhance standup paddle boarding performance and overall health. Yoga guru Julie Allen has expanded her skills from land onto the water, instructing adventurous students through a serene meditative class on the beautiful South Florida waterways.

Figurella – Palm Beach Gardens An all-natural fitness and weight loss lifestyle for women, Figurella in Palm Beach Gardens offers a wonderful and easy way to update your appearance and improve your health in a single visit. The method begins by entering a patented machine called The Bubble, which has been heated to the normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees. Inside, clients complete a 30-minute series of personalized movements to work on problem areas, utilizing 2-pound, weighted pulleys. The temperature, combined with physical activity, begins an enzymatic reaction that awakens the metabolism and stimulates lipolysis (disposal of accumulated fat).

PBC Boot Camp – Lake Park This program is designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of fat-burning intervals over a 45-minute period of time. PBC Boot Camp training commences dynamic stretching and running, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, using suspension training methods called “Jungle Gyms,” pushups/situps, plyometrics and various types of explosive routines. Trainers also offer nutritional tips and advice.

SkyBike – West Palm Beach SkyBikeWPB is a public bike sharing system with 14 stations throughout Downtown West Palm Beach that provides a convenient and healthy way for locals and visitors to get around. Users can rent and return more than 150 bikes from stations located near many of downtown’s key locations. The service offers daily and weekly rentals as well as monthly and annual memberships for unlimited riding.

Run and Roll – West Palm Beach A Downtown West Palm Beach running shop offers a weekly picturesque run on Saturdays that goes through Downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. The run begins at 6 a.m. and is for runners of all levels. You can run from 4-20 miles. No matter if you are a casual runner or if you are training for a marathon, the run is enjoyable for all. Water and Gatorade is provided along the route. Or if you prefer, join the group for a weekly Tuesday night 6 p.m. walk, where all levels of fitness are welcome. The walk is three miles along Flagler Drive and the Palm Beach Lake Trail. Both the run and the walk begin at the store on Clematis Street.

Total MOVEment – West Palm Beach Total MOVEment is a wave of positive energy that sweeps through our community, causing people to connect to who they were meant to be. They believe that each individual is are meant to run, jump, compete, and believe! For as low as $75 a month, you can participate in unlimited sessions 6 days a week. All you need to bring is a fitness mat, two small dumbbells (5-8 lbs. for women, 8-12 lbs. for men), a towel and water.

County Beaches, Parks and Recreation – Palm Beach County With 47 miles of pristine beaches for fitness enthusiasts to enjoy, it’s easy to stay active in The Palm Beaches. Farmer’s Table – Boca Raton Providing “feel-good food” that’s local, Farmer’s Table restaurant uses two-thirds less salt then other restaurants in all of its dishes. The restaurant’s primary cooking agent is sunflower seed oil, and it sources produce from local farms as much as possible. It follows the EWG’s recommendations for buying only organic produce known as “The Dirty Dozen,” and you will never find any fat-fried or microwaved foods. The restaurant’s Vero water system produces water that is five times filtered and mineral enhanced. All proteins served are “never ever” proteins, which means the animals have never been administered antibiotics, hormones, or steroids.

Christopher’s Kitchen – Palm Beach Gardens Christopher’s Kitchen focuses on high-quality, certified organic, plant-based food. Here, you can find genuinely delicious raw vegan dishes that aren’t just delicious, but good for you, too. Try the “cheeses,” from a walnut pesto and brazil nut parmesan, to a house-aged cashew cheese and macadamia nut ricotta. The sprawling lunch and dinner menus are raw, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. There’s even a live pizza, made with veggie flax crackers, a house red sauce, veggies and an avocado and cashew “cheese” topping.

Darbster – West Palm Beach You won’t find any animal products at this 100% vegetarian and vegan-friendly bistro, but you will find a creative menu. The restaurant’s mission statement reads: delicious, natural, organic and vegetarian-friendly cuisine that will appeal to all tastes. Its menu includes our version of some old time classics as well as some new innovative dishes. With a waterside deck, Darbster provides a welcome respite from the fast-paced world outside.
