One of the only downtowns in the U.S. located right on the ocean, Delray Beach offers a one-of-a-kind mix of city attractions and tropical beaches known for their natural beauty and fun vibes. Stroll east along pedestrian-friendly Atlantic Avenue all the way to Delray Beach Municipal Beach, which features chair and cabana rentals, a large covered gazebo and wide, sandy shores perfect for a game of volleyball. Farther south, two more beach parks—Anchor Park and Atlantic Dunes Park—offer plenty of room for swimming, shelling, building sandcastles or just stretching out in the sand.
