Lake Park

The Jewel of the Palm Beaches

It’s all about the water in Lake Park, whether gliding on the surface or discovering the depths.

Snorkel, dive and thrive! The underwater snorkeling trail at Phil Foster Park was recently completed and it’s a sight that can’t be missed. This artificial-reef project is composed of 600 tons of rock and includes prefabricated reef modules and limestone boulders. The snorkeling trail spans 2 acres, providing ledges and small habitat spaces for fish, octopus, seahorse and other sea life.

If deep-sea diving is more your thing, wade on over to Deep Obsession Charters for the underwater journey of a lifetime. Chart some of the warmest and clearest waters on the eastern seaboard with a professional diving guide. Scout out the eerie shipwrecks and majestic coral reefs hidden below the surface. If you’re new to diving, don’t worry! They offer courses for beginners that still allow you to see some of the best sights in the area. Private charters are also available for those who want a more personal experience.

When you’ve had your fill of adventure and excitement for the day, Lake Park offers plenty of ways to relax and unwind. Lake Park Black Box is an intimate 275-seat venue featuring live entertainment like stand-up comedy, plays and an eclectic mix of music. Coastal Karma Brewing is another popular hangout spot in the area with “good beers, good times and good karma.” Sip a local brew while you play a board game, ride on the swings and listen to some live music. Drop by on a Saturday to join the Ashtanga-inspired Vinyasa yoga class.
