Haverhill

Enjoy Haverhill, Florida, for its lush lawns and hometown feel with quick access to West Palm Beach shopping and entertainment.

Things to Do Nearby

Located just minutes from Florida’s Turnpike, downtown West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach International Airport, Haverhill’s sleepy residential burg is the perfect mix — away from it all and within easy reach of south Florida’s more urban offerings, like fine dining, world-class retail, and the gorgeous Atlantic coast.

Pause for a sunny day barbecuing with the family at Haverhill Park, which boasts amenities like picnic areas with grills, racquetball, lighted tennis courts, and a grass volleyball court.

Located less than 2 miles away in neighboring West Palm Beach, Mounts Botanical Garden is touted as a 14-acre living-plant museum with 25 gorgeous gardens. The Butterfly Garden, for instance, features nectar-producing plants and an active population of fluttering Monarch, Atala, Zebra Longwing, and Cloudless Sulphur butterflies. The Florida Natives Garden showcases a formal courtyard with indigenous plant life like firebrush (think pops of red blooms that attract zippy hummingbirds) and wild coffee (tiny white flowers with shiny, dark leaves). And the Tropical Forest Garden cascades with blooms like delicate orchids and sunrise-colored bromeliads. A permanent installation of three “moai” statues (reproductions of figures found on Easter Island) resides here as well.

Dive into Palm Beach’s vibrant dining scene with a scoop of gelato at Sant Abroeus, small plates at Buccan, and tender steaks at Meat Market. Hop from boutique to boutique before grabbing cocktails at West Palm Beach’s open-air shopping districts like The Square, historical Clematis Street, and CityPlace. Or catch a big-name act at downtown’s Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
