Parking Information

Parking is available in the City of West Palm Beach’s public parking garages. Parking at the City Center, Clematis and Sapodilla garages will be a $5 flat rate. The closest garages to the event, Banyan and Evernia $10. Click here for the map of parking locations and fees.

About West Palm Beach’s Annual Independence Day Celebration: 4th on Flagler

Save the date for South Florida’s largest, free outdoor Annual Independence Day Celebration!

The City of West Palm Beach will soon host its 38th Annual 4th on Flagler celebration with a festive “Where Wishes Come Red, White and True” theme. The highly anticipated event will return as the largest waterfront Independence Day celebration in South Florida from 5 – 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2026. Live music, family-friendly activities and vendors with food and drinks for purchase will populate the City’s downtown area along Flagler Drive (between Banyan Blvd. and Fern Street). A fireworks display by Pyrotecnico will ignite over the Intracoastal Waterway around 9:09 p.m.

Residents and visitors alike come from all over South Florida and beyond to enjoy this family-friendly entertainment, patriotic celebrations, stunning waterfront views, and the impressive 18-minute fireworks display.

Celebrate Independence Day at one of South Florida’s largest waterfront events. Enjoy live entertainment across multiple stages, a patriotic ceremony, family-friendly activities, food vendors, and an unforgettable fireworks and laser show over the Intracoastal Waterway.

This year’s entertainment includes Gotta Groove on the main stage, DJ Reflex in the Kids Zone, and The Tim Charron Band at Post Park’s country-themed experience. Kick off the festivities with the annual Bill Bone 5K, a scenic race along the downtown waterfront that has become a cherished Fourth of July tradition for runners and spectators alike.

More than 50,000 people are expected to attend 4th on Flagler. People who prefer to celebrate at home can watch the fireworks display as a WPBF 25 Special: 4th on Flagler LIVE Fireworks or on WRMF 97.9 for a simulcast of music from 9 – 9:30 p.m.
