4. The Breakers Rees Jones® Course

The Breakers resort has also a second course named Rees Jones® Course, a championship golf course situated approximately 10 miles from the resort. 6. High Ridge Country Club

High Ridge Country Club, located in Lantana, is one of the more secluded clubs. The club, which was initially designed by Joe Lee in 1979, is characterized by its unique amoebic bunkers that appear to grow larger as you gaze at them from the tee. The course also features several ponds, with several holes forming “cape”-like scenarios where players must rely on their driver and long irons to reach the green in two fair shots.

In 2001, the club brought in Kipp Schulties to extend the club’s length and renovate Lee’s original bunkers. Schulties returned to High Ridge in 2010 to carry out a full course redesign.

Sandhill Crane Golf Club —Palm Beach Gardens Municipal Golf Course—is home to two excellent golf courses. The Champions Course is a par 72 course redesigned and renovated by golf course architects Dusenberry Design in the summer and fall of 2013. The Nest Par 3 is the newest addition. 14. North Palm Beach Country Club

The North Palm Beach Country Club was established in 1926 by golf course designer Seth Raynor as a gathering place for potential real estate investors and Palm Beach elites. The club was purchased by the Village of North Palm Beach in 1962. It underwent renovations in 2006 and 2019 and is now recognized as one of the most significant courses on the Florida Historic Golf Trails.

Okeeheelee Golf Course offers 27 holes of championship golf which equate to three nine-hole courses that may be played in three different 18-hole combinations. 17. Palm Beach Par 3

The world-famous Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Florida’s picturesque Intracoastal Waterway. The course, initially designed by architect Dick Wilson and his apprentice Joe Lee, was completely revamped in 2009 by World Hall of Fame champion Raymond Floyd. The course’s stunning tropical setting is enhanced by beautiful landscaping, two lakes, and lush paspalum turf, all complemented by a constant ocean breeze.

This unique Par 3 course features 18 holes, ranging from 81 to 211 yards, with three sets of tees on each hole. The newly built two-story Key West style clubhouse houses a fully stocked Pro-shop on the ground floor and the al Fresco Restaurant and Bar on the upper level. A full-length driving range, putting green, and practice bunker are also available for golfers.

18. Delray Beach Golf Club

Address: 2200 Highland Avenue, Delray Beach, FL, 33445

The Delray Beach Golf Club, designed by the renowned golf course architect Donald Ross, was destined for greatness from its inception. The City of Delray Beach acquired the land for the course in 1923, and a nine-hole course was officially inaugurated in 1926. The course remained operational until it was forced to close during World War II. After the course reopened in 1945, city officials decided to expand it with an additional nine holes, which were completed in 1950.

24. The Park West Palm
