Love is Love: LGTBQ+ Weddings in the Palm Beaches

May 27, 2021

We’re celebrating Pride month by showcasing some incredible and inclusive weddings in The Palm Beaches.

June is Pride month and there are plenty of events to celebrate locally, including the annual Palm Beach Pride celebration in downtown Lake Worth Beach. This is the oldest Pride celebration in the state of Florida, which has been reimagined for 2021 as the Palm Beach Pride Market.

Fun on the Sand

The Palm Beaches are known for their beautiful beaches and crystal-blue waters. There are plenty of ways to have your nuptials on or near the sand. If you are eloping, just grab your fiancé and officiant and head to the nearest public beach. No permits required. For something more formal, Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront/Palm Beaches Resort has a private beachfront that is perfect for saying “I Do” while being surrounded by loved ones. Another venue to listen to the crashing waves during your wedding is the impeccable Four Seasons Palm Beach.

Can’t Beat the Cityscape

One of the best things about The Palm Beaches is the variety of venues available. One of the newest additions to the scene is “The Deck” at Hyatt Place West Palm Beach/Downtown. It is a garage rooftop with epic cityscape views and hip industrial feel that can host large or small guest lists. There really isn’t anything else like it in the area.

Together in Nature

Immersing yourself in nature can be a great way to relax. Take a cue from this couple and spend some time together outdoors on your wedding day. Not only will it give you a chance to relax and connect with your fiancé, but you can get some stunning photos. John D. MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach is a great spot for a stroll or photo session with its picturesque boardwalk and beach access.

The floor-to-ceiling glass walkway in the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place is perfect for natural light photos indoors. Sweeping views of the Palm Beach Marina and Intracoastal Waterway greet you in The Ben’s ballroom in West Palm Beach. The opulent ballrooms at The Boca Raton are just exquisite.

Whispers in the Garden

There are some incredible gardens to be found in The Palm Beaches with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Filled with lush landscaping and stunning artwork, the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden in West Palm Beach is a unique venue for an intimate wedding. The Society of the Four Arts gardens are a hidden gem located on Palm Beach that is perfect for elopements. You can even visit for some unforgettable wedding portraits.

Ceremonies at Home

Throwing a backyard wedding has gained immense popularity in the past year. They offer a unique combination of comfort and flexibility that is hard to replicate in a traditional venue. However, if you don’t have a backyard to utilize, check out rental properties that welcome events like The Rich Hippies House. It is a beautiful spot in West Palm Beach that can sleep guests and host a backyard soiree. It’s like a home away from home with the conveniences of a wedding venue.

There are some incredible, public art pieces throughout The Palm Beaches. From mural art to sculptures to interactive installations, there is always something new to check out. In West Palm Beach, Clematis Street is filled with tons of amazing displays of art. Just a few blocks away is the incredible Canopy by Hilton West Palm Beach Downtown with its picturesque rooftop and modern feel. You can stroll around downtown for your portraits and then head back for a fun celebration. Another great spot for public art is the Boynton Beach Arts District. This unassuming area is home to some unique mural wall garages. Each garage features a different design, so you are bound to find one you love for a portrait or two.
