Intracoastal Waterway from North Palm Beach to Jupiter
Look up in the sky – not for Santa, but for fireworks, because it means the “Merry and Bright” Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade on its way! See boats decked with dancing lights, holiday adornments, and more than a few surprises as they make their way up the Intracoastal Waterway from the North Palm Beach Marina to Jupiter.
On December 3 at 6 p.m., a floating Zambelli fireworks display will lead the parade on the Intracoastal Waterway, starting at the Safe Harbor North Palm Beach Marina and navigating north to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. The free, family-friendly event will feature up to 80 boats of all sizes decked out with fun decorations and thousands of holiday lights.
It’s a super festive way to say it’s the holiday season in The Palm Beaches. The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is also a water-based toy drive. For over 20 years, the parade has proudly partnered with the U.S. Marine Reserves Toys for Tots organization, collecting hundreds of thousands of unwrapped gifts for local kids in need. A “toy fleet” of boats with amber beacons and/or Toys for Tots signs will pull right up along the parade route to pick up donations; just wave a flashlight to get their attention.
There will be plenty of public parks and places along the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade route to see the show: Juno Park, Bert Winters Park, Waterway Park, Sawfish Bay Park, Jupiter Riverwalk, Harbourside Place, and Lighthouse Park. Grab dinner or drinks with a view and watch the festivities from waterside restaurants and bars like Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street, 1000 North, U-Tiki, Waterway Cafe, Jetty’s, or Square Grouper Tiki Bar.
Nearby Palm Beach Gardens is one of the most elegant shopping destinations in The Palm Beaches. Do all your holiday shopping at the area’s many upscale shops, malls, and open-air centers, including The Gardens Mall, Midtown, and PGA Commons.
