“An Earthly A-Fair”

It’s been 50 years since Earth Day came about and the South Florida Fair is here to celebrate. See indoor and outdoor attractions, some 200 rides and games, and all the Fair favorites – from those hard-to-believe foods to everyone’s favorite, the renowned pig racing.

From the Giant Wheel to the Feed Store

Take a ride more than 150 feet in the air with the Midway Sky Eye. It’s North America’s largest traveling Ferris wheel. It’s centerstage in the ever popular midway, where kids, teens, and parents can be twirled, thrilled, and maybe let out a scream or two on the rides.

Not to forget, the Fair showcases agriculture’s impact on The Palm Beaches. There’s livestock, baby animals, and farm equipment. Take home fresh produce and vegetables, locally grown, when perusing the famous Sundy Feed Store Fresh Market – it’s a whole new taste of The Palm Beaches.

And the Fair just won’t be fair without rows of vendors displaying their latest gadgets, clothes, arts & crafts, and cowboy gear. Not to mention cover bands, ice staking, and where Florida’s rich history comes to life at Yesteryear Village.

Keeping COVID Safe

The Fair believes in safety first. Volunteers and employees are being instructed how to stay safe and keep fairgoers safe. Hand sanitation and hand washing stations are installed in multiple locations around the Fairgrounds. Everyone coming to Fair is required to always wear face coverings when not eating or drinking. For more on Fair safety, see these FAQs.

What to Do Before or After the South Florida Fair

The South Florida Fairgrounds aren’t far from Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area, where you can enjoy the more peaceful surroundings of 350 acres that are home to white ibis, red-tailed hawks and great blue herons once the sights and sounds of the fair have tired your family out.

Just a little farther west of the South Florida Fairgrounds, lions, rhinos, zebras and giraffes roam the Lion Country Safari park. America’s first drive-through wildlife preserve, it allows up-close experiences often only found on African safaris.
