Events Roundup: What to Do This April in The Palm Beaches
Live music, polo tournaments, festivals, fairs, and…
South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33421
January 12-28, 2024
The ever-popular midway is centerstage for more happening times. This is where kids, teens, and parents can be twirled, thrilled, and maybe let out a scream or two. Not to forget, the South Florida Fair showcases agriculture’s impact on The Palm Beaches.
The award-winning agriculture and livestock program features more than 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 Florida counties. And the Fair just won’t be the fair without rows of vendors displaying their latest gadgets, clothes, arts & crafts, and more. Not to mention illusion shows, parades, and all kinds of entertainment. And do take your time strolling where Florida’s rich history comes to life, Yesteryear Village.
This year’s theme is DIVE INTO THE FUN, a celebration of the ocean and the marine wildlife! See a live shark show, get up-close with sea lions, walk-through an immersive underwater experience and interact with local organizations that educate our community on how to keep the oceans healthy, clean and thriving! Find out more.
Advance Discount Admission tickets are $10 (11 years and older) valid any one day of the Fair.
If you use this advance discount admission ticket on opening day, January 12, you can keep the ticket and come back another day, courtesy of PUBLIX.
Advance Discount Ride Vouchers are $25. This voucher can be redeemed for one Ride Wristband any one day of the Fair or 30 ride coupons any day. Admission not included. The wristband is valid for unlimited rides on the day redeemed.
If you think you’ll attend the fair more than just once, consider the Mega Saver package (SOLD ONLY IN ADVANCE AND ONLY AT PUBLIX) of four any-day admissions, two ride vouchers and four $5 food tickets for $99. No upgrade required for Ride Vouchers included in the Mega Saver.
The South Florida Fairgrounds aren’t far from Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area, where you can enjoy the more peaceful surroundings of 350 acres that are home to white ibis, red-tailed hawks and great blue herons. Just a little farther west of the South Florida Fairgrounds, lions, rhinos, zebras, and giraffes roam the Lion Country Safari park. America’s first drive-through wildlife preserve, it allows up-close experiences often only found on African safaris. Visit the South Florida Fair website
