The National  Polo Center is the premier polo destination in the world, hosting the largest field of high-goal teams and the most prestigious polo tournaments played in the U.S. The Palm Beach Polo Season opened on December 31, 2023, and runs until April 21, 2024. Polo matches are open to the public, and tickets start at $30.

Enjoy Equestrian Sports at the Winter Equestrian Festival

Even if you’re not a seasoned equestrian, Wellington offers plenty of opportunities to appreciate the beauty of this sport during the Winter Equestrian Festival.

The horse jumping season starts in January and runs through April. From dressage and show jumping events to riding lessons and trail rides, there are plenty of opportunities to see the riders in action.

On Saturday evenings, horse lovers can enjoy Saturday Night Lights at Wellington International, an internationally recognized venue that is home to the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and ESP Annual Series. The jumping starts at 7 pm on Saturdays, but doors open at 6 for family fun. A carousel, face painting and a petting zoo are just a few of the highlights. Admission is free; however, there is a charge for self-parking.

Experience the International Gay Polo Tournament

Join in the festivities at the International Gay Polo Tournament, a unique event that combines sport, inclusivity, and philanthropy.

This tournament draws top GPL players and avid spectators from around the globe for a weekend of grand horseplay. Mixing one part serious competition and one part lighthearted party, this event is all about sharing a love for adventure, fun, and the challenging sport of polo. Created to generate awareness and to move the needle forward for LGBTQ athletes, the event works to ensure athletes not only have the same opportunities, but also a safe place to learn, grow, and excel in their sport.

The spirited polo competition will come to a head in a majestic match only rivaled by the creative competition from the tailgaters. The tailgating scene is just as competitive as the polo action, with spectators creating elaborate themed parties. 

In 2024, the International Gay Polo Tournament will be held from April 4 to April 6 at the Patagones Polo Club.
