Visit Historical African American Sites with The Palm Beach County Black Cultural Heritage Trail Self-Guided Tour

Step into the past and discover how Black history shaped The Palm Beaches with the new Palm Beach County Black Cultural Heritage Trail! This initiative celebrates the contributions of African Americans to the region’s history, culture, and identity.

Spearheaded by a collaboration of organizations, including the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, and others, this self-guided trail highlights 12 historic sites across the county. Locations include Roosevelt Junior Senior High School in West Palm Beach, the Spady Museum in Delray Beach, and the Sunset Lounge in West Palm Beach.

The trail’s interactive map provides visitors access to historical and modern-day images and must-see stops.

Winter Equestrian Festival, Wellington

The Winter Equestrian Festival is one of the largest annual sporting events in The Palm Beaches, and the longest-running equestrian event in the world. It attracts national and international athletes competing for prizes, readying for the Olympics, or beginning careers in equestrian. 

Starting January 1st, the 2026 season kicks off with 13 weeks of thrilling competition. From January through March, spectators can experience world-class show jumping, explore unique shopping, and savor delicious dining at the venue.

The highlight of the season is the Saturday Night Lights event. This free family-friendly experience features food trucks, face painting, a petting zoo, live music, a carousel, and more—fun for all ages!
