The Most Instagram-Worthy Spots in #ThePalmBeaches

Always looking for the perfect pic to share with friends and family? Here, we round up our favorite places to Instagram in The Palm Beaches.

South Florida is the perfect setting for showing off your Instagram skills. A Boomerang of waves washing up on the beach—check. A story showing a local craft beer being tapped—yep. A slideshow featuring your top 10 snapshots from your visit—good luck narrowing down your favorites. Grab your selfie stick, your bestie or your whole family, and start here for a photo-filled adventure in The Palm Beaches.

1. Giant murals abound throughout The Palm Beaches. Pose in front of giant tropical fruit in the Pineapple Grove Arts District, sit and sip with a brilliant Einstein, or try on angel or butterfly wings (some of which glow in the dark!).

Where to find them: “Dancing Pineapples” is at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Northeast Second Avenue in Delray Beach. “Einstein’s Theory of Love” can be found on the patio of Subculture Coffee in West Palm Beach. “Wings” is painted along Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth.

2. At the end of Palm Beach’s famed Worth Avenue stands a landmark that perfectly frames the Atlantic, practically begging for passersby to take a picture (or 12). Get creative—try an angle from down the beach, steal a kiss from your sweetie, capture the palm trees on either side of the street.

Where to find it: There’s plenty of two-hour parking spots along Worth Avenue, giving you lots of time to nail it.

3. At Lion Country Safari, the wildlife practically pose for the camera. The drive-through safari offers opportunities for selfie-ing with rhinos, zebras, ostriches and more right outside your car window. There’s also a section of the park featuring an aviary, petting zoo and animal encounters like hand-feeding a giraffe—which definitely calls for a video rather than a still.   Where to find it: Lion Country Safari is located on 600 acres in Loxahatchee, not far from West Palm Beach.

4. Take your GoPro or waterproof camera below the surface for incredible footage of marine life like brightly colored tropical fish, octopuses, spotted rays and manatees, and swim alongside them on the Underwater Snorkel Trail.

Where to find it: Phil Foster Park in Riviera Beach is home to these world-famous waters.

5. Find your Zen as you stroll the Woodruff Memorial Bridge, crossing over into the lush gardens at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. Pose in the middle of the bridge, taking a moment to gaze out at the water. (You’ll probably spot several iguanas, and maybe an otter or two!)

Where to find it: Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is in Delray Beach, and the Woodruff Bridge is directly to your right as you descend the museum steps into the 16 acres of gardens.

6. Grab your paddleboard or kayak and slice an oar through the calm water of the lagoon off DuBois Park for an action shot. Extra points if you can get the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse as your backdrop.

Where to find it: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is in Jupiter, just across the waterway from DuBois Park.

7. Sunrise at the beach is an iconic Palm Beaches shot, and with 47 miles of coastline, the toughest part will be deciding where to set up. One of our favorite locations is Lake Worth Pier, where waves crashing against the pier’s pilings and the muted colors of Benny’s on the Beach contrast with explosive pinks, oranges and yellows.

Where to find it: The pier juts out from Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth, so follow directions to the restaurant.

8. Between the vibrant tiling on the fountain and the show-stopping gazebo, Mizner Park screams “color-coordinated selfie.” So pick out a complementary outfit and make your way to this Boca Raton must-do.

Where to find it: Mizner Park in Boca Raton is a shopping mecca, with stores like Kendra Scott, J.McLaughlin and Lord & Taylor.

9. Come face-to-face with sea turtles, some of whom naturally look like they’re smiling, at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. And while we’re talking sea creatures, we also want to shout out the manatees at Manatee Lagoon. There’s a manatee sculpture on the lawn, and in the cooler winter months you can’t miss the manatees huddled together for warmth in the water.

Where to find them: Visit Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach and Manatee Lagoon in Riviera Beach.

10. Gorgeous greenery adds interesting textures to shots, and we’ve got that in droves. Mounts Botanical Garden always has something in bloom, from bromeliads to begonias, and Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens throws in looming works of art to add height and depth.

Where to find them: Both Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and Mounts Botanical Garden are in West Palm Beach.
