What to Do This September in The Palm Beaches

August 9, 2018

Visit South Florida this September and take advantage of the last month of free hotel nights, monthlong culinary deals, and more.

Fall Events

No matter when you visit, there’s a popular event or festival to attend—the hard part is choosing which, and that holds true for September.

Let’s start with two culinary events—Flavor Palm Beach and Boca Restaurant Month—taking place all month long. With Flavor Palm Beach, restaurants throughout The Palm Beaches offer up prix fixe menus for lunch (only $20) and dinner (ranging from $30 to $45). Options include Pistache French Bistro in West Palm Beach, 3800 Ocean on Singer Island and Nitrogen Bar, Grill and Sushi in Jupiter—along with about 50 more. Reservations are now open, so book your top picks before they fill up.

Mouth watering yet? In Boca Raton, more than 20 top eateries are offering similar specials—three course meals starting at $21 for lunch and $36 for dinner. Try the Latin American flavors served by The Locale, authentic bowls at Ramen Lab and “gastrogrub” like short-rib sliders at Tap 42, which has a rotating beer list to complement its dishes.

Dance in the streets during Brazilian Beat, set for Sept. 8 in Boca Raton. A celebration of Brazilian independence, this free festivale features a Rio-style parade, a Capoeira circle, Brazilian cocktails and live music headlined by the Latin Grammy-winning Diogo Nogueira.

At Brew 2 at the Zoo, join in South Florida’s craft beer boom with samples from more than two dozen local breweries, all within 100 miles of Palm Beach Zoo. While there, see the wildlife on view and nosh on nibbles from local food vendors. Tickets are only available in advance, so buy yours now.

Free Hotel Nights

Who doesn’t love an extra day of vacation? September marks the last month of our Free Hotel Nights promotion, during which select hotels and resorts in The Palm Beaches give you one night FREE when you book a minimum number of nights.

Get every third night free at The Chesterfield, a boutique property in the heart of Palm Beach. While there, don’t miss the live music emanating from the Leopard Lounge Bar nightly, or the peaceful courtyard pool. Stay two nights, get one free is also the deal at PGA National Resort & Spa—spend your bonus day playing golf on one of five legendary courses or relaxing in the full-service spa, complete with European influences like a mineral pool with salts from the French Pyrenees. Visit Delray Sands Resort during the week and get your third night free—the hard part is deciding whether to spend the extra day poolside or on the beach.
