Boca After Dark: Night Markets in Sanborn Square, Boca Raton

The heart of Boca Raton will come alive under the stars as the popular Night Markets return to Sanborn Square.

The City of Boca Raton Night Markets will feature a diverse array of local food vendors serving up mouthwatering dishes, sweet treats to satisfy every craving, and an assortment of handcrafted goods by local artists and makers. Each market evening will be accompanied by live music, crafting the perfect atmosphere for a night out in the city.

Running from October 2025 through May 2025, this series of markets will take place on the first Thursday of each month, from 6 pm to 9 pm, offering residents and visitors an enchanting evening of food and drinks, art, live music, and community.

Fall into Fun at LoggerHead Marinelife Center

Loggerhead Marinelife Center is rolling out new ways to “shell-ebrate” the season. October brings family-friendly programs like Early Access Tours (get a behind-the-scenes look at sea turtle care), Jr. Veterinary Lab (kids become turtle vets for the day), and Hatchling Tales Story Time for little ones. Outdoors, join a Juno Dunes Hike (with a Halloween twist on Oct. 31), a hands-on Living Beaches exploration, or the Kids Fishing Program at Juno Beach Pier. The Historical Society of Palm Beach County, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, has launched a special exhibition honoring Hispanic entrepreneurs and executives who have shaped the region. Jupiter HarbourFest

Dog lovers, this one’s for you! Calypso Bay (Royal Palm Beach) and Coconut Cove (Boca Raton) are letting pups take over the pools for a day of splash-filled fun. Big dogs and little dogs get their own sessions to swim, play, and make new furry friends—while owners enjoy the cuteness overload.

Hispanic Heritage Community Celebration

Dorothy Gillespie: Retrospective Color in Motion Exhibit

📍 Location: Cornell Art Museum, 51 N. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444.

The Cornell Art Museum, in collaboration with the Dorothy Gillespie Foundation, will present a major exhibition celebrating the seven-decade career of American artist Dorothy Gillespie. A leader in the women’s art movement, Gillespie was known for her vibrant painted aluminum sculptures that radiate, curl, and burst like fireworks.

The exhibition opens October 18, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM. with free admission (suggested $5 donation), live music, and refreshments. Installations will fill the museum’s atrium and three lower galleries. Programming continues in November with a documentary screening and Q&A led by her son, Gary Israel, along with children’s workshops and community collaborations.

Ford Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival, Boca Raton

Halloween Skate and Scooter Contest, Jupiter

📅 Date: October 25, 2025

📍 Location: Jupiter Skate Park


Join this fun skate and scooter contest at Jupiter Skate Park! Registration for the contest will be onsite at the Skate Park prior to the event. Registration for the scooter contest will begin at 2 pm and the scooter contest begins at 3 pm. The skateboard contest registration begins at 5 pm and the skateboard contest begins at 6 pm. Prizes will be awarded to top 3 places in each age division.

Costumes are encouraged. The best costume contest (For all skateboard/scooter competition participants that day) begins at 5 pm.  Participants cannot wear Halloween masks and you must be able to wear a helmet.
