Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 18th Annual TurtleFest on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10 am to 5 pm. Focused on promoting conservation, TurtleFest is a fun-filled day of close up encounters with endangered and local species of native loggerheads, green and leatherback turtles. Listen to great music, see captivating art and discover a place where it’s cool to be green. Admission to the event is free.
Together We Can . . . Loggerhead Marinelife Center will once again host TurtleFest at the center’s ocean-side campus and surrounding Loggerhead Park. This family-friendly event allows visitors up-close encounters with threatened and endangered sea turtles, as well as fine art, shopping, children’s games and activities, educational presentations, a Global Village, food, and music by conservation-minded local musicians. Oh. . . and don’t forget to keep an eye out for Fletch, their official loveable mascot or take part in scheduled beach clean ups that help keep the environment in other ways.
