Asian-Inspired Activities in The Palm Beaches, FL
Discovering Asian-Inspired Gems in The Palm Beaches…

A curated guide to where to stay, dine, and unwind in one of South Florida’s most iconic coastal escapes.
By: Claudia Caminero Andriasova
The island of Palm Beach is home to some of the country’s top award-winning hotels, including White Elephant Palm Beach, rated the number one resort in Florida by Travel + Leisure, and Palm House, the island’s newest hotel, which earned a Michelin Key in its first year. Its culinary scene is equally impressive, with five-time James Beard nominee Clay Conley, the talent behind local favorites Buccan and Imoto.
Beyond the accolades, Palm Beach charms with its rich history and coastal beauty from the grandeur of the iconic Flagler Museum to peaceful walks or bike rides along the scenic Lake Trail. Add in uniquely colorful boutiques like Coniglio Palm Beach and the most stunning Mediterranean architecture.
Whether you are traveling solo, as a duo, or with family, this two-day itinerary will give you plenty of activities so you can create the most wonderful memories during your trip.

White Elephant Palm Beach

If your idea of a perfect staycation is a boutique luxury with heart, the White Elephant Palm Beach delivers in a big way. Perfectly located across from Bradley Park and the Intracoastal Waterway, this hotel puts walking and biking trails, a supermarket, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. The famous Worth Avenue is just minutes away, with their complimentary BMW private car service.
The energy is youthful, cozy, and calm. The elegant, minimalistic rooms are thoughtfully designed, while the common areas create an intimate, “we-have-the-place-to-ourselves” atmosphere. This is a refined, people-driven boutique hotel where care and comfort shine. Can you believe that they set up a mini crib in the room during our stay? A truly personalized experience. For a Palm Beach staycation that feels stylish, personal, and joyful from start to finish, White Elephant is a standout and a true island gem.
P.s Lola 41, one of the favorite dining spots, is in this hotel.

Palm Beach is a magical place, and the Colony Hotel is a part of that charm. It is a timeless piece that is also really stylish and easily recognizable without any effort. Considering its pink facade and old-fashioned grandeur, it appears to be a Beverly Hills hotel on the East Coast. The Colony shines as a private retreat, in which adults are the primary emphasis (it is not designed for children) for people who are staying overnight
Guests are strongly encouraged to stay here, because of the friendly personnel, perfect housekeeping, thoughtful details such as customized cards and nightly goodies, and the complimentary transportation within a two-mile radius. In addition to the pool setting, the entire resort has an air of sophistication, exuding a warm and inviting atmosphere.

For a staycation that feels unmistakably Palm Beach, Palm House checks every box. The location is hard to beat. Just steps from Worth Avenue, La Goulue, Buccan, and a short walk to the beach, Palm House makes it easy to enjoy the island without ever needing a car. The rooms are beautifully designed and ultra-comfortable, while the outdoor pool with cabanas adds an effortless resort feel. Dining is a major highlight inside the hotel. The food is consistently outstanding, refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service stands out across the board, from knowledgeable hosts to attentive servers and a lively, welcoming bar scene.
Whether you’re planning a date night, a weekend escape, or a refined local staycation, Palm House delivers a complete Palm Beach experience: stylish, walkable, and effortlessly memorable.
After checking in and freshening up, it’s time for light bites and drinks. I love a good, refreshing mocktail and some light appetizers to get me in vacation mode.
Lola 41
290 Sunset Ave, Palm Beach, FL 33480

If you are staying at the White Elephant, Lola 41 is a no-brainer, as it sits on the property, making it very accessible. But accessibility is not all; this local favorite offers a wonderful menu with a mix of Asian and American flavors that will bring joy to your taste buds. Among my favorites are the Poke Nachos and the sushi rolls.
The Honor Bar
340 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480

Upscale but casual, that’s The Honor Bar in Palm Beach. A small and intimate bar with booth seating, where you can grab some of your favorite American bar snacks like Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, or their famous Honor Burger.
Swifty’s at the Colony Palm Beach
155 Hammon Ave, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 832-7318
thecolonypalmbeach.com
During your staycation in Palm Beach, you can’t miss a visit to Swifty’s at the Colony hotel. One
of the best times to visit is during the daily live music session by the beautiful outdoor pool area,
where the atmosphere is laidback but lively. Order your favorite bites from their broad menu and
enjoy your time at the “Pink Paradise”.
One of my favorite things to do the day I check into a hotel is to see all the amenities to plan my
hotel activities during my stay. I also love going out on sunset walks, in this case, a stroll along
the beautiful lake trail that extends more than 5 miles and overlooks the Lake Worth Lagoon
with stunning views of the West Palm Beach skyline.
Needless to say, the Palm Beach dining scene is exciting and full of world flavors. I will be
sharing with you some of my favorite places to dine, making your experience unique.
Imoto at Buccan
350 S County Rd, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 833-5522
imotopalmbeach.com
If you’re planning a staycation and want a truly memorable dinner, Imoto is a must. Tucked next
door to Buccan just off Worth Avenue, this intimate, high-energy sushi spot consistently delivers
one of the best dining experiences on the island, and is easily among the best in Florida.
The energy is upscale yet inviting, with a dimly lit, beautifully designed space that’s perfect for date
nights, celebrations, or a bar seat where you can watch the chefs work with precision and
speed. Service is warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful; servers guide you through the
menu and make the experience feel personal from start to finish.
The food is where Imoto truly shines. Appetizers like the Peking duck tacos, rock shrimp tempura, amongst others, are all standout dishes, layered with bold, balanced flavors and stunning presentation. Sushi lovers will be blown away by the fresh, chef-driven specialty selections. They are consistently excellent, while the nigiri is pristine and carefully prepared.
Imoto is often the first recommendation for sushi in Palm Beach, and for good reason. Intimate,
polished, and unforgettable, it’s a staycation dinner spot you’ll find yourself returning to again
and again.
Other great choices for your first dinner in Palm Beach include: Flager Steakhouse, Cafe
Boulud, and Cafe L’Europe.
The Circle at The Breakers Resort
1 S County Rd, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(855) 435-5744
thebreakers.com
When you come for a day trip to Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, I suggest waking up early
so you can start your outing with breakfast at The Circle, located inside the famous The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach.
This way, you’ll begin your visit with the best ocean views and a dining room featuring 30-foot
ceilings decorated with Renaissance-style landscape murals. It feels like you’re having breakfast inside a European castle.
Besides the stunning setting, the breakfast options are unlimited since it’s a buffet filled with all your favorite dishes, including several freshly
made-to-order options such as omelets and crêpes, thin French-style pancakes.
Other spectacular breakfast options include Sant Ambroeus and La Goulue.
Midtown Beach
400 S. Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach, FL 33480.
Enjoying time at the beach is a can’t miss activity in Palm Beach, even if you are a Floridian. You are in staycation mode, so there’s no need to bring your beach umbrella and chairs, as most Palm Beach hotels offer complimentary beach umbrellas and chairs for their guests. And that’s not all, as hotels like the Palm House offer lunch delivery from their restaurant to your beach spot. What a life!
So schedule all these complementary services and have a true layback beach day.

After a morning at the beach, head to the hotel, freshen up, and get ready to have a bite outdoors in a shaded area with a stunning atmosphere.
Pizza Al Fresco
14 Via Mizner, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 832-0032
pizzaalfresco.com
Tucked into a charming courtyard just off Worth Avenue, Pizza Al Fresco is one of those places that instantly transports you straight to Italy, with a Palm Beach twist. It’s casual yet polished, romantic without trying too hard, and consistently delivers both great food and atmosphere. The outdoor courtyard dining is the real star here: birds chirping and that relaxed island elegance that makes you want to take your time. Inside seating is also available, but eating al fresco is part of the magic. It’s the kind of spot that works just as well for a date night as it does for lunch with friends or a stroll-and-sit staycation moment.
The food is reliably excellent. Thin-crust pizzas are generously topped and perfectly crisp. Pastas are rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Portions are satisfying, prices feel fair for the quality, and service is attentive without being intrusive. If your Palm Beach staycation includes wandering Worth Avenue and having a relaxed Italian meal in a beautiful setting, Pizza Al Fresco is a must during your stay. Other great choices include Cafe Flora, Pink Paradise Cafe, and Via Roma.
Worth Avenue
301 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 659-6909
worth-avenue.com/
Worth Avenue, which stretches for four blocks between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean is a magical and internationally famous luxury shopping destination. Located off the main street, you’ll find short “vias” that lead to high-end businesses and gourmet eateries. Some vias are loaded with stores and outdoor dining options, including Via Mizner, Via Parigi, and Via Bice, which features one of my favorite stores on the island: Frances Valentine, a colorful, vintage-style clothing brand that also offers the most comfortable and stylish shoes and cute accessories. Gucci, Tiffany & Co., the newly opened Louis Vuitton, and countless more
luxurious brands have a presence on this opulent road.
You must visit the Lilly Pulitzer store and find apparel that is authentic to Palm Beach, as well as J.McLaughlin, whose elegant, bold prints with soft tones bring a true sense of relaxation and vacation.
Another store that I recommend checking out is Buru, a brand that uses left-behind fabrics and creates stunning and unique clothing pieces. Stop by the galleries with very interesting pieces, which include statues made out of pencils, and take pictures in some of the most Instagrammable spots, including the blue door surrounded by bougainvilleas across from Renato’s Palm Beach.

Renato’s
87 Via Mizner, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 655-9752
renatospalmbeach.com
One of my all-time favorite restaurants on the island is Renato’s Palm Beach. This restaurant truly transports me with its indoor, elegant red and gold decor, as well as its beautiful outdoor patio surrounded by bougainvilleas and Palm Beach charm. For almost 40 years, Renato’s has been a staple in Palm Beach and rightly so, as the food is phenomenal, fresh, and exquisite.
When you go, you must try the Dover sole dish, a tender fish full of delicate flavor from the wine and lemon reduction sauce, accompanied by sauteed Spanish and creamy mashed potatoes, the dish is called “Sogliola di Dover”. Whether you are going on a romantic dinner or looking for a special place to dine, Renato’s Palm Beach is a must during your staycation.
Other great dining options in the Worth Ave area are Le Bilboquet, BiCE Ristorante, and Cafe
Boulud.

Le Bar a Vin
380 S County Rd, Palm Beach, FL 33480
Phone: (561) 490-1456
lebarpalmbeach.com/
If you don’t want to call it a night after dinner, Le Bar à Vin in Palm Beach is where to go for an upscale and lively bar atmosphere. Located right before Worth Ave on Main Street, you can’t miss this black and white elegant spot, where there is live entertainment almost daily. You are sure to have a good time with the live piano and DJ music, as well as the vast selection of drinks and food.
Le Bilboquet Market
353 Peruvian Ave, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 720-2680
lebilboquetmarket.com/
A newly added concept by acclaimed chef and local favorite François Payard, Le Bilboquet Market is an upscale all-day cafe serving sweet and savory dishes, a vast coffee selection, and grab-and-go items. Stop by in the morning and have a delightful breakfast and engage with locals.
I love their macaroons and all the sweet treats. Other great light breakfast choices in Palm Beach include Main Street Coffee Shop and Chik•Monk Coffee.

Lake Trail
S Lake Trail, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(800) 554-7256
Rare Palm Beach experiences like the Palm Beach Lake Trail allow the island’s natural splendor, rich history, and modern conveniences to coexist in perfect harmony. Located between South Lake Drive and Peruvian Avenue to the north of the Sailfish Club, this paved, flat path is ideal for strolling, jogging, or biking and spans approximately 5 to 5.5 miles. As you make your way along the walk, you’ll encounter locals, nannies, joggers, and tourists; concealed behind ivy-covered walls and bursts of bougainvillea are some of the world’s most prestigious addresses. Guests can enjoy picturesque vistas of the West Palm Beach skyline as they stroll
along the path that follows the Lake Worth Lagoon.

Among the notable features are a large kapok tree that was brought from the Amazon during the early experimental days of Palm Beach and meandering pathways formed by the roots of ancient banyans. Along the way, you will be able to see the island’s historic sites, such as The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, which will immerse you in the island’s history. Lake Trail is perfect for a peaceful bike ride or a peaceful morning stroll because it is beautiful, free, and infinitely pleasant. This is a must-do for any staycationer who wants to see Palm Beach in its most genuine form.
La Goulud
Address: 288 S County Rd, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 284-6292
lagouluepalmbeach.com
Lunch at La Goulue Palm Beach feels like a little slice of Paris in the heart of Palm Beach. From the moment you step in, the sunlight-filled bistro and cheerful atmosphere make you feel instantly welcome. The menu is full of midday delights, think crisp salade nicoise, gooey croque monsieur, or fresh, seasonal seafood, all paired perfectly with a chilled rosé or a glass of wine.
It’s the kind of spot where friends linger over laughter, business chats feel relaxed, and every
bite is a treat. And don’t even get me started on the desserts, they’re simply amazing.
Other exquisite lunch spots are Dining Room at Palm House and BrickTop’s.
1 Whitehall Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480
(561) 655-2833
flaglermuseum.org/
Palm Beach will surprise you even if you live here or think you “know” it. A magnificently maintained Gilded Age glimpse at the man who shaped Palm Beach and modern Florida is at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. A fascinating, interesting, and touching one-hour guided walking tour is included with entry. The docents’ humor and historical understanding make Henry Flagler’s story feels personal rather than museum-like. You can also explore magnificent chambers with original furnishings, paintings, and architectural detail at your own speed with audio or print instructions.
Walking through the gorgeous railcar, rotating exhibits (particularly fashion and design showcases), and the interesting tale of how Flagler’s granddaughter saved the estate from ruin and spent her life repairing it are highlights. Expect to spend several hours exploring two floors and other exhibit spaces. Though accessible, anticipate the charm and quirkiness of a 120-year-old landmark. This fascinating, stylish Palm Beach museum is perfect for a cultural staycation afternoon.

Spending some downtime at the hotel after such a fun and active morning is a must, especially
when you are staying at such a magnificent resort, where you can enjoy the pool at peak sun hours or book a massage to add that extra sense of staycation to your trip.

One of the most elegant restaurants in Palm Beach, Henry’s is one of our go-to places for special occasions. This upscale and lively American-inspired bistro is known for elevated comfort classics like their burgers, Dover Sole, specialty pastas, and seasonal salads. The restaurant has daily brunch, lunch, dinner, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. This is definitely a place to go with friends and loved ones.
Amazing alternatives for dinner include Meat Market Steakhouse and Tutto Mare, located at the Glazer Hall.
70 Royal Poinciana Way Ste. P70, Palm Beach, FL 33480
