This February 17-26, gear up for an epic week of gameplay in five different sports.
It’s good to be a sports fan in The Palm Beaches. Not only are there 160 golf courses, scores of water sports and many other outdoor activities to choose from year-round, but one week in February brings together an elite slate of sporting events dubbed the Ultimate Week of Sports by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. During this action-packed week, you can catch five different sports around The Palm Beaches – including polo, PGA golf, professional tennis and Major League Baseball. Here’s our detailed agenda.
Come see tennis elite, both past and present, at the Delray Beach Open, Feb. 10-19—the only tournament in the world to feature both the ATP Tour and fan-favorite legends from the ATP Champions Tour. Now in its 31st year, the tournament draws more than 60,000 spectators and reaches television audiences in over 50 countries over the course of 10 days. Catch the quarter finals on Friday, February 17.
Catch the semifinals of the Delray Beach Open on Saturday, February 18.
Palm Beach Polo Season rides into town from January 1 through April 23, 2023. Throughout those 16 weeks, the world’s finest horses, preeminent teams and most skilled players will be competing for the prestigious Gauntlet of Polo™. In the ultimate survival of the fittest, the Gauntlet of Polo comprises three elite tournaments: the C.V. Whitney Cup, the USPA Gold CupⓇ and the U.S. Open Polo ChampionshipⓇ. The team that wins all three takes home the largest prize in the sport: $1,000,000. On February 18, don’t miss the quarterfinal of the C.V. Whitney Cup, the first of three 22-goal tournaments in the Gaulet of Polo.

The Honda Classic (Feb. 23-26) has been bringing top PGA TOUR talent to The Palm Beaches since 2003, providing a week of entertainment and one of the finest fan experiences around. The tournament features a field of 144 players and a purse of $7 million, with net proceeds benefiting the locally based Children’s Healthcare Charity. Tee it up with the game’s top players on the Champion Course the Monday of tournament week. The relaxed golf setting played in TOUR event format, provides an unparalleled environment – prime for relationship building.
The PGA tour practice round takes place on the Championship Course on February 21. Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio, and redesigned by links legend Jack Nicklaus, the Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa is best known for “The Bear Trap” – a daunting three-hole stretch that is known as one of the biggest challenges in golf.
The Honda Classic Cares Pro-Am presented by Tire Kingdom combines world class golf with a full entertainment experience. Your guests in the pro-am team up with a PGA TOUR professional in an 18 hole shootout for prizes on the Champion Course.

The Winter Equestrian Festival (Jan. 2 – Apr. 2) takes place at Wellington International, an award-winning venue that operates the largest and longest-running hunter/jumper horse show in the world while welcoming thousands of the world’s best riders from all 50 states and more than 42 countries. February 22nd marks the kick-off of the 7th WEF week, sponsored by Lugano Diamonds.
The Honda Classic first (Military Appreciation Day) round begins at 7 am on February 23.

The Saturday Nights Lights will feature the $406,000 Lugano Diamond Grand Prix CSI5*, which is the highlight of the week. Spring Training (25 Feb. – 26 Mar.) is a can’t-miss experience in The Palm Beaches, where the teams of the Grapefruit League warm up for the regular season under the South Florida sun. Head to Jupiter’s Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins spend their Spring Training. With unparalleled player access and close-up encounters with veteran stars and up-and-coming prospects alike, the Spring Training experience here is truly one-of-a-kind. On Saturday, Feb. 25, you’ll have a chance to see the St. Louis Cardinals against the Washington Nationals.
