Discover The Palm Beaches Updated: 2/15/18

The craft beer movement continues to sweep the nation, with brews boasting a rich variety of flavors, from local, independently-owned breweries. The Palm Beaches is a part of this beer revolution, home to many well-known craft breweries.

Accomplice Brewery & Ciderworks: South Florida’s first and only ciderworks features all cider made on site in West Palm Beach, with 11 flavors on tap every day. The taproom at Accomplice also serves beers from other local breweries, so you might discover one of your favorites. All available ciders are gluten-free.

Barrel of Monks: From European malts and hops to recipes paying homage to those famous brews crafted by Belgian Trappist monks. Barrel of Monks in Boca Raton offers a great selection of BPA, Saison, Wit and more on tap in an attractive, old-world styled tasting room in Boca Raton.

Civil Society Brewing: Between the Roger Dean Stadium and the beach, Civil Society Brewing Company is a craft beer brewery located in Jupiter. With an industrial taproom onsite, visitors get a front row seat to its brewhouse, where they celebrate their craft, heritage, innovative spirit and dedication to making quality beer.

Copperpoint Brewing Company: With a staple of core beers, including its flagship amber lager, a hoppy IPA, and Belgian saison. Copperpoint Brewing Co. made its debut to The Palm Beaches’ craft brew scene in 2015. Its 2,000-square-foot air-conditioned tap room, located in Boynton Beach, is styled with wood and metal oriented décor and features a suspended and chilled tap system.

Devour Brewing: With a passion for growing the craft beer community, Devour Brewing opened in Boynton Beach in 2015 and offers 2,600 square feet of fully air-conditioned brewery space. Relax with a craft beer, or munch on grub from the various food trucks it brings in.

Dixie Grill & Brewery: Serving 28 rotating craft beers on tap, Dixie Grill & Brewery, in West Palm Beach, is a classic brewpub. Fitting with the South Dixie location in which it is situated, the entire interior of this watering hole is adorned with hand-chosen antiques. The owners frequently rotate out the old antiques and add new ones so be sure to look out for newest additions from time to time.

Due South Brewing Co: What started as a backyard home brewing hobby, has flourished to become a leading craft brew brand offering multiple styles and seasonal flavors found at bars and stores throughout Florida. Visit the brewery and taproom in Boynton Beach for behind-the-scenes tours and sample their golden ales brewed on-site.

Mathews Brewing Company: In September 2017, Matthews Brewing Company will open as Lake Worth’s first brewery. The brewery will produce beer for distribution and for an on-site tasting room. The facility will also include an auxiliary beer garden. Matthews says 14 taps will pour more than a dozen in-house beers alongside two rotating guest taps.

NOBO Brewing Company: NOBO Brewing Company is Boynton’s newest brewery and has become the fourth brewhouse on tap in Boynton Beach’s NOBO (North Boynton Beach) District. Led by two brothers, the five-barrel brewery has a neighborhood approach serving “small batch, local, handcrafted beer.”

Ookapow Brewing Company: Two passionate craft-beer lovers and homebrewers have teamed up to launch Ookapow Brewing Company, a craft microbrewery, which is slated to open September 2017 in West Palm Beach. Here, 1,700 square feet will be transformed into an open-style brewery where a single-barrel brewhouse will share space with the taproom. As demand grows, they plan to increase capacity to a seven-barrel system.

Prosperity Brewers: The one-barrel brew house is located in Boca Raton. The facility is inside a 2,400-square-foot warehouse bay, 900 feet of which have been fashioned into a tasting room and lounge area. The brewery brews a number of styles and offer a diverse range of constantly rotating recipes from 15 taps. The brewery’s core profiles are currently slated with an IPA, double IPA, hefeweizen, wit, English mild, and saison.

Saltwater Brewery: Saltwater Brewery is Delray Beach’s first local production microbrewery with a “Reef Room” for tastings onsite. It has daily events planned with lots to do on site. The Reef Room has Shuffleboard, Bimini Ring toss, Chess, Checkers and XL Jenga so be sure to stop by for a drink. The brewery is run by a team of Floridians who strive to promote the public to “Explore the Depths of Beer” and educate them on ocean conservation.

Tequesta Brewing Company: A longtime hangout for locals, Tequesta Brewing Company serves more than 40 seasonal certified organic specialties on tap. Be sure to take in the live music on the weekends and try their favorite, “99 Problems But a Hop Ain’t One” brew.

Twisted Trunk: An exceptional find for the craft beer aficionado, the Twisted Trunk is located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens, with an inspired name taken from the large banyan trees planted by the city’s founders.  The taproom features a bar created from 100-year-old elm wood and cozy lounge areas with views into the brewery, with an industrial/urban atmosphere, with big screen for sports fans.

West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault: West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault will be the first brewery with a wine bar to launch within the downtown limits of West Palm Beach. The owners said they took their time searching for the right spot to open the ten-barrel brewhouse, settling on a spacious 6,000-square-foot industrial building off Evernia Street- just a few blocks south of Clematis Street. It is a large, open-plan 2,500-square-foot tasting room and spacious 30 seat bar where they will offer 24 taps- serving a rotating lineup of their core, seasonal, and special release beers.
